    Installation of RAM upgrade to 6-year old laptop needed Internet video help to be able to locate both RAM sockets as well as how to disassemble the laptop (very carefully). Otherwise, simple plug-in installation and no additional set-up required. Laptop only recognizes 3.25GB of the 4GB upgrade. Not sure if it is the installation or the chips at this point.

    Bought it to upgrade my old laptop. It is a pretty decent and universal accepted RAM. I didn't have any issues.

    I have a little netbook that originally had Windows XP loaded on it with only 1 GB of ram. I had windows 7 installed on it and it was extremely slow so I got this to add to increase the RAM memory. It helped speed things up a little.
