I have a Samsung Chronos 7 Laptop I bought at BestBuy 3 years ago, and was told in reviews, by a Best Buy associate, and by Samsung it has a MAXIMUM of 8GB of RAM. I recently attempted to put this 8GB stick in, and now have 12 GB and couldn't be happier. Between this upgrade, and an SSD, my laptop now boots to password prompt from Windows logo appearance in about 6 seconds, and I can finally load all my applications and use them at their best efficiency. I couldn't be happier.

After some research on the type of memory my laptop used I searched to see how expensive it would be to upgrade. With only one memory slot and my laptop being my primary internet device I wanted to use a quality product from a reliable place. PNY is a brand I have trusted and it was an easy upgrade the helped to speed up my computer and keep Chrome from bogging it down.

Because you can’t never have enough Ram in you computer! This beauty just made my editing imac a monster! Let’s face it, Apple products are crazy expensive sometimes and with this 32gigs of Ram I just extended the life of my late 2013 27-inch iMac. HUGE tip use all the Ram you can and an SSD and your computer will work Insanely great! Great speed and great quality!

Good memory pny for improve your laptop, not trash it you can still use it if you improve a little. So think about it. You can feel the difference

I’ve upgraded my laptop from 6gb to 16gb of ram and I have seen some noticeable change in speed but not drastic. In the end, if you’re looking for a cheap upgrade, this will do.

My computer was choking on the data I was asking it to process after having been used for two years and migrating from Win 7 to 10 during that time, anyway - a tipping point was reached, a scan was taking +10H and would often crash without completing the process. MS suggested it was a RAM issue and this memory stick gave me a 200% memory increase, works well with my original 4GB stick, and has solved my issue. Thanks!

Purchased this product to increase the RAM in my current laptop. It was a great price and very easy to install. I noticed immediate enhanced performance. I would recommend it to anyone that needs a boost for their laptop.

My daughter is a teacher. When she had to start teaching online, she had 14 students who did not have computers. We were able to update two of our older notebooks to donate. One had minimal memory and we were able to purchase a memory upgrade from our local Bestbuy. The upgrade allowed the old notebook to operate sufficiently for e-learning.

My Husbands all in one HP computer had practically no ram and was super slow. So we put this in and it helped as much as it could. Easy to install and great quality.

I was looking for Ram to upgrade my daughters Laptop a Toshiba Satelite C55-B5201, this ram is a bit hard to find and best buy had it, it works perfectly in her laptop , and with the added ram shes is able to run more drawing programs , and has more speed in general great ram good price. This laptop Only has One slot so finding one Ram stick that would max out her ram at a good price at a local store was good.

Compatible with my Early 2011 mac book pro, installation was easy and my system works like new. P.S. - I also upgraded the hard disk to EVO SSD, which perhaps had more impact on m mac's performance than adding more RAM

This is a low voltage RAM. This is something that lots of employs at Best Buy don't know. It works only in certain laptops like my Lenovo that i purchased from here. Had to do two trips and personally select this item off the shelf due to confusion from the staff. Now on to the actual product. It is was it says. It Amps up processes with in my system just by installing. 2 of these will max out most laptop systems.

I bought this for my wife for her work from home setup. Her All-In-One PC was quite slow, with only 4GB of memory. Adding this was pretty easy, if you're comfortable tearing apart a computer. I found videos online that were very helpful. Of course, we replaced the PC 2 months later, but it helped out while she needed it.

Bought 2 of these to speed up my wife's old Dell Laptop. Hardest part of the process was to open the computer up to access the slots. Other than that, very easy and speed has vastly increased. I used these in addition to changing the hard drive to an SSD. Feels like a brand new computer.

This memory works in a MacBook white chassis (mid 2010 design). While the speed had a higher rating than what was supported, when I left one of the original 2 GB sticks (operating at the correct speed) in the system, this memory clocked itself down to the correct 1066 MHz and operates very well. The memory alone in the system would not function but as long as you left one dimm in the system operating at the correct frequency, it worked great. Highly recommended for any laptop needing a boost in memory as it (combined with a new SSD drive) will take any old laptop and make it perform like a racing machine.
