Doubled my laptop's memory with no issue with Windows 10. Made playing games online a much better experience.

It works as described. Very simple: I opened my laptop, plugged into the 2nd RAM slot : the first slot was taken by my original 4GB RAM. Once plugged in it becomes 12GB RAM. Works seamlessly. Makes my 5 year old laptop much faster, less fan activity. The upgrade is well worth the cost.

I wish I could tell you this was an unnecessary upgrade. I wish I could tell you the difference was barely noticeable and save your money. But honestly taking my machine from eight gigs of RAM to a total of 12 now with this item was very noticeable. I had to replace my hard drive because it failed and upgraded to an SSD, Samsung 860 Evo which I highly recommend but still had some lag or it just wasn’t as fast as I thought it should be Based on my past experience going from HDD to SSD. Adding this eight gigs of RAM made a huge difference and I highly recommend this product.

Such an easy way to speed up my computer. Upgrades my HP all in one from 8 to 16gb of Ram. These are by far the best.

These are very fast drives, even if you do not have the fastest SATA revision, you will notice substantial performance increase. This drive, despite being 'name brand' (really about the top name brand) was reduced to about the same price as PNY (my usual Best Buy purchase). Yes, if you read around the net Samsung SSD's did have a firmware issue a little more than a year ago. This is now not the case. As with traditional drives they can really use room to breath and dont like being banged around too much.....use rubberized standoff mounts and put it near a fan.

I installed this in my wife's friends laptop that was slow as could be; and this doubled her RAM and allowed Windows 10 to run at a decent speed and not make her super frustrated.

Got this to double the RAM on my wife's laptop. Installation was a bit of a pain but that's the fault of the laptop (16 tiny screws to remove and reinstall). Her laptop runs faster now.

Easy install, worked great -- that desktop is MANY times faster with an upgrde from 4GB to 8GB.

I like to upgrade my RAM. I do a scan on crucial.com to find out the maximum specs. Then, I buy RAM sticks like these and do an upgrade. PNY are mid-range on price and reliable.

This memory was an Upgrade to my gaming laptop, provided the memory needed to run various applications that use intensive memory operations. Good price range, shame that crypto mining have raised some upgrades for our PC parts

When buying memory, do your research first to make sure that it works with your laptop. It took me longer to take apart the laptop than it did to install this. It took under 60 seconds to pop out the old memory and put this in. Once in the computer recognized it, and it works perfectly. The laptop works a lot better with double the memory in it.

Seems like all of Apple's products end up with a notorious issue they refuse to acknowledge. For those with a mid 2012 MBP, you may/may not already know one of those issues is the bottom ram slot eventually going out, so that only one slot is functional. Seven years after purchasing mine, it happened to me. So rather than struggling with just 2gb of RAM, I installed this into the top slot, and it worked straight out of the box. Despite not having a second, functional slot, having 8gb in one slot out-performed having 4gb split across two slots. Highly recommend this!
