Easy to install and it's been running great on my low end laptop, makes it much more usable now. I'm happy with my purchase

Bought this to replace the main drive in one of my kids PC. Best Buy advertised the drive read speed as 500MB/sec but it's actually only about 430MB/sec max which is a little less than the similiar price Kingston SSD (450MB/sec) and Sandisk Ultra 2 (550MB/sec). Despite that the SSD works just as advertised. My kid's PC boot in about 20 sec compared to the usual 45-50 sec. Have not done a lot of tests but the PC seemed to be snappier.

I put this in my AMD A6 Toshiba had Windows 8.1 Laptop boots up much faster. Wanted to clone the old HD but did a fresh install of Windows 10 instead . One day on install so far so good.

After installing this my macbook got so much faster... and cooler... and as a result less noisy. Solid state is the best

this ssd is very fast afterbinstalling windows in it it takes less than 15 seconds to reach the desktop of my pc!!!

I bought this drive to replace the HDD that was in my brand new laptop computer. I had to boot up the old operating system first and it was unbelievably slow. What do you expect for 5400 rpm? Anyway, when I booted up on this one I installed windows 10 in less than 10 minutes. That goes from boot up clear through logging in. I could not be happier with this product.

It was very easy to install like any other hard drive. No problem install Windows 7 and boots up very fast.

Have the best performence for this kind price, my Y50 used to be so slow, big change after install this SSD

It's faster than a sata. The price is right. If you want a good, inexpensive ssd, this is your best bet.

Replace my old laptop hard drive with this and its fast. Computer boot time has been greatly reduced.

This was replacing a 5400 rpm hard drive in an Alienware alpha. Time it takes from pressing the start button until you can use the Alienware alpha UI was 1:11 for me. with the solid state drive installed, that time dropped to 0:22. Vast improvement over a regular hard drive and perfect for my application. No comment on reliability because I've only owned it for a short time period, but other brands are known to be more reliable.

Boost in speed and performance on PC. Loaded the OS and the results were immediately noticeable.

I have had experience with PNY products in the past and none have let me down, this SSD is no exception. This drive was purchased to house my growing Steam and Origin game library and it does this quite well. The drives performance is satisfactory and the fast map load times keep me from waiting. I am using this device externally.

I desperately needed to replace the failing hard drive in my daughters 2012 MacBook Pro so I figured I'd install a solid state drive to speed up her machine a bit. I was looking to buy a slightly faster Samsung but they were out of stock at my local store. The PNY was too affordable not to take a chance. So far, so good. The machine boots A LOT faster than it used to. My daughter and I are very pleased.

My old HP laptop running Win7 was taking several minutes to boot up and load games. Hard drive was also starting to make funny noises. Bought the SSD and had Geek Squad install it (for free since I have Geek Squad Protection Plan) and upgrade to Win10. Done in 1 day. Boot time is now seconds, not minutes, and games load almost instantly. The jury's still out on Win10, but guess I can get used to it.

Price was a steal for a 240GB SSD. It is small and fast. Use it as my boot drive.
