I was impressed with the amount of speed in which the programs loaded. I never had a solid state HD before and I am impressed with the way this one runs my lap top.

Installed without a problem. No compatibility problems. Improved performance over the hard drive that was replaced. Now I have to see if it will be reliable over time.

When my original 320g hard drive for my 2009 Mac BookPro failed I was considering purchasing a new Mac BookPro but when the Apple store did not have the model I was interested in purchasing in stock I spoke with one of their Genius and he asked if I had considered upgrading the HD to a SSD. No brainer for me, this drive is super quiet, quick starting and has an additional 180g's of storage. Very happy with this purchase and would recommend to a anyone. Also upgraded my memory at the same time so overall performance is much improved and saved me a boat load of money!

Quick and Easy to install. Has been running flawlessly as it should. Installed as a replacement Laptop boot drive. I have an Old Thinkpad that was either going to become relevant again with this drive or be recycled. This drive saved the day. Running Windows 7 on it.

The drive has been a solid performer at the price point (which was very good for an SSD). I would have bought more if needed. Solid durability as I punish any drive with different tests and loading multiple OS versions. I have used it for virtualization tasks. Successfully ran a linux OS with five vms simultaneously with no lag. I am maxing out older SATA2 technology. Drive also lowers overall temp on my laptop. Very happy with the purchase.

This drive was easy to set up and install and is much faster than the hard drive in the Toshiba laptop I put it in. I'd recommend it!

Easy to install depending on device access to and ones experience because it comes in OEM packaging. Fast and no problems so far.

The ssd 480 gb improved computer speed. i replaced a samsung 256 gb ssd evo. Needed more space. Just as fast with double the gb.

Works great in my Lenovo T420. My boot times dropped to 15-20 seconds under Windows 7, and my battery life improved significantly.

The price is great for a 480 GB SSD. Easy to install and works fast. Highly recommended and a good choice if you are new to SSDs.

I cloned my operating system and existing programs to this drive on my desktop and the results were unbelievable. The computer now starts within 10 seconds. Most programs open instantaneously. I was so impressed I purchased another 500 gig for my small business laptop. It was taking up to 8 minutes for my Quickbooks software to open. It now opens within 15 seconds. Switching to a solid state hard drive was by far the best thing I did to increase the performance of any PC I've owned.

I came into Best Buy to get an SSD to replace my old laptop's mechanical hard drive. The PNY SSD turned out to be the most inexpensive one among all brands. I understand that it is not as high-end as SSD's such as Samsung 850 Pro or Intel, but when I installed it--which was very easy by the way-- I found no issues, and the computer boot up speed was very fast. I am satisfied with the purchase.

This is my 4th SSD and my first 480gb capacity. On par with most of my other SSD's (from various manufacturers). Can't comment about reliability but replacing legacy HDD with SSD is a great way to add new life to an older PC.

I"ve purchased many SSD's over the past few years and this one exceeded my expectations. My old 250GB Samsung EVO was getting low on space & bought this to be a secondary drive to that. Surprisingly this drive performed so well I ended up just replacing the old SSD with this instead as using it as my main drive! Time will tell if it's reliable but I do regular backups of critical files and bare metal backups so should be covered. This is a great drive at an incredible price!

This drive is fast and works great in my Asus G75 and also in my MSI laptop!!
