I was running out of space on my laptop's hard drive so I decided to do an upgrade. Best Buy had a great price on this one and the reviews were good. I cloned my original hard drive, installed the new one, and was up & running in no time.

Super SSD. Nice size, holds lots of files and programs and is lightning fast. Breathe life into your older laptop and increase battery life.

Solid State drives are cheap enough now to consider putting one into your new computer and installing Windows from scratch. Format the hard drive that came with it as your big data drive and you will have a much faster performing computer.

I installed this on a slow netbook to give it a little more life - it works great and is a little faster though the system as a whole is rather slow. Installed without problems and mirrored the original drive using third party software.

Needed to backup Photo collection, piece of cake. CHeap, fast, and so far, reliable.

I purchased this 480GB SSD to replace an older Samsung 250GB SSD for my HP desktop running Windows 7. I don't have to worry about running out of room for my programs, pictures, music, etc. So far this has been a good purchase.

Considered purchasing a new computer, but then decided to try this. Moved MyDocuments to a separate 2TB hard drive and installed the operating system on the SSD. Now I have a new computer! Incredibly fast and reboots in seconds.

The ssd drives made an incredible difference in the speed of both laptops. Well worth the investment. The software for the transfer worked ok, but was a little slow compared to some other cloning software I have used in the past.

Excellent and well priced SSD. So far no problems at all. SSD is the way to go given most of the harddrives are only 5400rpm.Makes a big difference in bootup and gaming.

The price and performance are excellent, but installation was a bit frustrating. The package contained no mounting brackets or screws or anything and the the screw holes didn't use any standard size and threading of screw normally used to mount a hard drive or disk drive of any type. So if you buy this product, make sure to also ask for a mounting kit that it will work with.

Excellent SSD at a very affordable price. Beware that they do not come with screws to secure the drive onto a bay or your laptop.

Upgraded and I3 Laptop with 5400 RPM drive that was about 4 years old. Installed this drive and installed Windows 10 and you would not think it was an old computer! Great way to put new life in your old hardware.

Works as advertised, good capacity at a reasonable price. Does not include cloning software so you have to download it form the internet. I used Macron Reflect and it work great. My laptop is a speed demon now

Got this on sale and it's been a rock solid drive. Not as fast as a Samsung 850 Pro or Evo but it's still a great upgrade to a mechanical drive regardless.

I have had numerous issues with my drive. Thing was on its last leg. So I did some reading, asked the tech dudes about converting to solid state, pros, cons. And went with it. Very happy that I have done so.

Installed easy. Restored Mac OS online with the built in recovery on the Mac. To add speed and longevity download a mac ssd trim program to control how the ssd holds data. I highly recommend this product.

I purchased this drive and placed it in a case to use as an external drive so that I could run additional server VM's. It has worked flawlessly and fast.

I installed this in my desktop as the main hard drive so it would start up faster. Left the old hard drive connected as extra storage. So far so good

The only short come to this device is the lack of information about what's needed to install this in a PC. ounce I found out about the insert adapter the rest was a piece of cake. Its been very reliable.

The difference this SSD has made in my old mac is incredible. It has actually made my late 2007 iMac preferable to my 2015 iMac. I would highly recommend this product and upgrade to any considering it.
