The drive boots up windows quicker and its much faster when opening apps Cons: No cables to hook anything up and no bay conversion if your case can't fit the ssd.

I used it to switch out my old hard drive for my laptop that was a spinning drive. This is Solid State with twice the storage. I immediately saw a difference in performance when I installed it.

Perfect. Works Great, Fast and Reliable

(Read/Write Average 600Mb/s) Flawless as video editing everyday for the last 4 months. I will probably not ever buy a spinning disk again.

Thi PNY is moderately priced and as or more spacious than the standard drives it replaces. It's the perfect upgrade for an aging laptop.

best upgrade for a laptop.

SSHD's are SO fast compared to a standard drive or even a high speed 10,000 rpm drive. windows loads now in 3 seconds where it used to be closer to 30 seconds

What a difference SDD make
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I just bought an Envy all in one with 16gb ram and 1tg hybrid drive. I changed the drive to a Pny sdd cs1100. My boot up time went from about a minute to 8 seconds. Restart 15 second. I just cloned the old hard drive and slapped it in and turned it on. The speed is amazing. Programs open like they were just minimized in the task bar.

I would highly recommend to anyone who can manage the budget.
