Installed this drive in my 2014 Mac Mini. Write speeds are ~420 and read speeds usually hit 480. Not as fast as a PCI-E SSD, but it's more than fast enough for my usage.

Solid state drives breathe new life into aging machines and 480GB is enough if you don't do lots and lots of downloads. a big external storage device for stuff not needing the fastest access is a good alternative.

Super easy install. Lightning fast response time...

I was happy the product was in stock and works great. Very noticeable speed increase over my old hard drive. I was not happy that the drive bay adapter required to mount in my desktop and SATA 3 cables were not in stock.

Fast drive great working drive. Works great and is fast. Can't think of anything faster. Truly fast. Yay for being rewarded for reviewing the product. But I'm not bias. It really is very fast. But and enjoy not being slow.

The difference between a regular hard drive and this drive is incredible..this made all the difference in my Mac Pro as far as boot times and photo file processing, much more of a difference than adding 8 gigs of ram.

I placed this device in an external enclosure and plugged it into my Xbox One. After a brief format, the drive worked great. At times, I believe it loads games even faster than the internal HD in the Xbox One.

Very pleased with the drive. I was very impressed with the speed it offers. Also like the fact that 80% of the company and its employees are US based. The drive is faster than the SanDisk that is the same size.

Upgraded to Windows 10 - still not happy with performance. Cloned existing 500 GB 7,200 rpm hard drive to this 480 GB SSD and now EVERYTHING is fast; boot time - file transfer - searches - backups, etc.

My Sandisk gave out on me after a couple of months. Bought PNY and was easy to install in my laptop, format for Mac OS and install Mac OS operating system. Turned my old MacBook as fast as my MacBook Pro.

I installed this drive in a Small Form Factor Pentium 4 with 4 GB of RAM it is now serving as my Media Center PC. It made the computer so fast that people don't believe it when I tell them is is a Pentium 4.

I only use PNY products for all my computer needs. I have replaced all my old hard drives in all my computer equipment with PNY SSD drives. They work well and easy to install.

I'm upgrading my desktop system. Before I could do so lost my 250 gigabyte solid-state drive after a power surge. Install this and restored my system to it and it is excellent and faster than lightning.

I got this ssd specifically for my online gaming needs. One of my games took usually 1.5-3 minutes to load up now it takes less than 20 seconds. Amazing product and I got it on sale which was also a plus!

I have used Samsung SSD drives in the past, but I have also used PNY USB drives previously, so I thought I would give this one a try as a replacement drive for my notebook. So far, so good - not a hiccup or any other kind of problem. Comes with a variant of Acronis' True Image software to aid in transferring data easily from one drive to another.

Installed this unit in a new laptop. Compared to the older computer running Windows 10 with boot up times exceeding 9 minutes. The new computer with this solid state drive only takes 20 seconds.
