I've had a few ssd drives and other than the boot time I really haven't noticed any visually significant speed boosts between them all. It has definitely improved boot up time cutting it in half.

This drive replaced my boot drive in my system. System boots much faster now. The only problem I had was with Windows not initially wanting to install updates, but that was finally resolved.

Excellent lappy carry bag. Had multiple pockets and needed a larger than usual carry bag for my newly bought asus rog which full size is about 18 1/2 inches. A great buy for the price and size

I purchased the PNY 128gb Solid State Drive to try out and liked it that I went and bought the bigger 480gb Solid State Drive. If you want a reasonable priced Solid State Drive then this is it.

It isn't the fastest SSD out there but at a certain point the speed becomes indiscernible. The performance to dollar ratio very nice on this drive. Plus two of them in RAID 0 is still very fast.

Very Fast at load up. Put this SSD in my desktop, with 16 GB Ram. Computer now starts up completely and ready to go in 24 seconds. It used to take 3 minutes with HDD. So far its been good !

I purchased this item to replace a failed hard drive. I was able to install Windows quickly and get my machine running again without any problems. Works great. Machine is faster than original.

I bought this for a new computer build, and it's amazing. Boots up in under 30 seconds and installs and loads heavy programs like the Adobe Creative Suite and modern games really fast.

Purchased this SSD for my laptop which I purchased 2 years ago with an i7 4700HQ processor and a 5400 RPM HDD, laptop always seemed to be holding back since purchase and finally decided to upgrade it to the 480 PNY SSD. It's like night and day, boots to windows in under 10 seconds, application launches in half the time, and working with multiple windows open does not seem to bother it at all. Great item and was on sale for $106, looking to buy another for my other laptop with an i3 processor. Only bad thing was that the cloning software which came with it sucks and was outdated, so ended up purchasing the cloning software with cable Apricorn sold by BestBuy.

If you're still using a spinning drive instead of solid state, you're REALLY in the past. The difference is NIGHT and DAY and this is the BEST upgrade bang for your buck on ANY computer!

I purchased this drive and installed it! The difference was clear! If you can open the fridge and take a Coke out of the fridge,you can install this SSD in your laptop or desktop computer!

After installing this hard drive the performance exceeded my expectations. The machine feels like a totally new computer. At least twice as fast. I would highly recommend this brand.

Bought 2 of these in store. System build is Asus ROG Ranger board, I7-6700k, 32gb Corsair Vengence, 2x1070 GTX. They benchmark in the 520-540gb/s range which is good. Would buy again.

The ssd is fast, not the fastest but for the person who I installed this for it's miles beyond the 5400rpm hard drive it replaced. It came with the Acronis backup software, but you still need to figure out how to connect this to the computer to transfer data to the ssd if you're not doing a clean install.

I purchased this drive to update my main computer and later got my job to buy 2 more drives to update desktops needing new drives to keep them up and running longer and more efficiently.

Really sped up my internet access and boot up time.
