Nice drive for the price, but
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought the SSD drive, with the intention of buying the Samsung, but no one could find the 3 they had in stock, so opted for this one. Boot time was faster and overall programs opened faster etc. The imaging software that came with it wouldn't work, so downloaded some of the free imaging software. Nothing seemed to work. So did a fresh install of Windows 10 and the hard drive would work correctly some of the time and most the time it did not. I think I got a lemon. I didn't think I could return, but called anyway and Best Buy took it back.

One of the fastest SSDs

It was for a customer that traveled daily with their laptop. With the SSD technology, she now doesn't have to worry with the laptop bouncing around while traveling and causing issues with the hard drive anymore. In the past we replaced her hard drive twice with SATA laptop drives, but after the SSD was installed that became a non-issue.
