Great backup drive

Fast drive

The price and performance justify the investment while adding years of life to the laptop. The only issue with this unit was in cloning the hard drive. It never worked. After 5 times of cycling through the procedure, I just booted in repair mode with the SSD installed then reinstalled Windows and my other software. It's actually been OK since my files are on my HDD (in an external case) so I just move what files I need. It's like cleaning out your garage without the issue of toiling over what to discard. The SSD boots very fast and runs software very well.

Prices have fallen so do it now! The only thing you will ever regret will be if you get one that is too small and you outgrow it. As with all upgrade components, save the receipt and box in case there is an initial problem or for the warranty (which is typically 3~5 years).
