Very tough to find now

Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The CS900 is the "replacement" for this CS1311 but, frankly, the CS900 is not the same quality and I've seen some failures of the CS900 while never seeing a failure of the CS1311. If you can even find it, the price is 40% more then the CS900. Too bad.

Have these in two computers now. Gives new life to my old win 7 system as well.

Good drive at a great value

I normally use brands like Mushkin or Samsung on my laptops. I have to say I was not disappointed. I think its a great drive for the cost.

The drive is great, but...

The transfer software lacked a lot to be desired and I had to download it from a website (-one star). this software is used by a lot of IT professionals and is set up for them in mind. I have used Samsung's black magic software previously and it came on a cd with the drive and was very user friendly.

Although it might not have been the most cost effective solution, it worked great and gave me triple the file storage.
