Compatibility Problems

It worked fine when used with an external USB-to-SATA adapter. My PC would not boot at all when installed and connected to an internal SATA connector. This PC has a brand new MSI X99A motherboard with another SSD running in it. It has a 1200W power supply so that shouldn't be an issue. I tried installing it in an older PC and had the same problem. The PC wouldn't boot with this SSD installed.

6144 megabytes per second IS NOT TRUE
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.UM, BestBuy - can you FACT CHECK and have some technical people actually read what they are typing ? A SATA III drive tops out usually 550MB to 600MB max... SATA III interface can not go faster. PCIe drives connected via the bus directly to the CPU hit the 3000MB mark. This drive doesn't do 6.1GB per second.

Bought it in store last year for $109.99

Incorrect Speed Information
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this SSD over any other SSD because I saw it had an incredible speed of 6144 Megabytes per second. I didn’t notice that conflicts with the 6 gigabits per second in the description. 6 gigabits translates to 750 megabytes, and 6144 megabytes translates to about 49 gigabits. Don’t be fooled, it doesn’t actually transfer at an unparalleled speed of 6144 megabytes per second. Instead it transfers around 540 megabytes per second. Whoever created this product page just doesn’t know how to convert bits to bytes. Other than that it’s aight.

Any chance Best Buy would want do let me exchange it and handle the RMA process so that I don't have to wait a month for a hard drive?
