Works like a charm after replacing my HDD with SSD. Boot up time is quick and applications access is faster after replacing my hard drive with this Samsung SSD. The kit has everything need to export all the data except the adapter from USB to SATA.

This SSD is a great upgrade for those looking for improved performance over standard HDD and to add extra life to aging systems. Best suited for standard performance / office workstation / media players, but would also be a great fit for gamers on a budget.

Increased my boot up significantly. Sped up every aspect of my computing input. Highly recommend for a cheap quick upgrade. Use the drive with only os on it. All other software is installed to a 2nd data drive to keep the ssd running optimally.

I've used plenty of these PNY drives. They're a great value in the $120 range, provide excellent performance, and have proven to be reliable. The $25 Visa Checkout discount didn't hurt either! Would buy again at the right price.

I bought this SSD to use in a USB3 enclosure, booting from it instead of my iMac's built-in hard drive. Resulted in a huge speed boost, and much cheaper to buy than having that size preinstalled in a computer. Highly recommend!

Recently replaced a 120 GB SSD with this one. The PNY is much faster and has considerably more storage. Very happy with my purchase. Cloning software is included so don't buy any. A great drive to own. Get one and you will see.

I upgraded our PC from a 5400 RPM HDD to this SSD, and it feels much faster at startup and app launches. Our motherboard only supports SATA-II at 3GB/s, so we're not even maxing out the speed. I'd recommend it at a hundred bucks.

Running Win 8.1, plugged into a USB 3.0 connection. It initialized when I went into manage, and I created a new simple volume. I then used Acronis to clone my HP LT HDD to it, worked great. Runs quickly and was very affordable.

Disk drive works great and I am running Win10. The reason for 4 star vs 5 was I was forced to do a fresh install, the software provided via internet link and additional 3rd party alternates could not successfully clone my existing Win10 HD to this SSD; I had to do a fresh install. All is working great now, but I was expecting provided software could have cloned my HD to save time.

I've been using a few of these in my desktop PC to install STEAM titles on and performance has been great, especially for the price. It also does great for installations of Windows 7 / 10 for an unbeatable boot time.

Upgraded a laptop with bad drive. Drive installed and worked with no hassles. System has nice over all performance increase. Now that these drives are more affordable, they are the next best thing to a memory upgrade.

I've purchased several of these PNY SSDs of various sizes and all of them have been very reliable and decently fast, especially for the price. If you're looking for a good low-cost SSD, I would highly recommend these.

Was as easy to install as any drive, not a hitch. Can't say how fast it is compared to other drives, but boots windows 10 in under 15 seconds on my machine. Hope it lasts a long time, only had it a couple weeks.
