says its for laptops, whatever. bought this for a new custom build as the OS disk. ,performs very well. fast seek and write. no problems for 3 months, and the best part is it has that fire tiger to go with my red and black theme

Not a lot you can say about it. It's fast. It's small. It sped up the loading times/frame rate for every game I installed on it. I would recommend using this to turn it into a hybrid drive with a 7200rpm+ 2tb+ hdd. I think I will pick up one more while it's still cheap and do just that.

Once I managed to obtain the appropriate hard drive cloning software to copy the hard drive, as it doesn't come with one nor does supply one either. However, once I swapped out the old drive from my laptop and while booting up it was noticeably faster! Also, the my Windows 8.1 was running a lot faster with such high speed read & write access to the drive was clearly visible to see. Good drive and well worth the money even though it doesn't with cloning software from manufacturer of drive,

Had a PC failure at a critical time, Best Buy had the product on the shelf, the best part about it is that the drive was first class with great performance reviews and better than amazon pricing. Install was a breeze and I was back up and running with a noticeable performance boost over the old SDD (liteOn brand). Thanks Best Buy for having a performance 480Gb solid state drive on hand!!

PNY makes good quality products that you can depend on to last. This drive is extremely quick and I could easily see my laptop booting up/shutting down much faster than ever before plus this one is good for gaming too. Even searching the hard drive pictures, etc, is extremely quick too.

It has worked great so far. guy who installed it made a comment about people prefer other brands, but had never had any problems with this brand....With the 3 year warranty I don't think there should be any issues. Personally I have never had a problem with any sandisk product. (just make sure you have a back up!

I replaced my 5400 2.5in drive with this SSD. It has been in a couple months and it's working great. MacBook Pro boot took over 2 minutes before, boots in 23 seconds now. Every app loads and runs very fast! The price has dropped to make these well worth the investment now.

Excellent ssd I put one in my ps4 and one in my laptop then one in my brothers computer they all have been exceptionally well with no problems at all... I would recommend this to anyone looking for a reliable ssd for a good price!

Got this to upgrade my laptop. It now boots faster around 5 seconds and my applications and games load so much faster. Uses less battery power than my old drive. Excellent upgrade.

Cloned an existing SATA drive to this drive on a Dell XPS computer and it completed and booted up with only some minor Windows 10 related boot up issues. Definitely noticed a nice overall performance boost. Would have been even better if this drive came with a 3.5' mounting bracket - hence the 4 stars.

This solid-state drive is awesome for older laptops got a real good blues on my laptop when I installed it would recommend to anybody that has older laptops

This SSD has made a huge improvement in the speed of my computer. I have done many over the years and by far this made it as fast as a new hi end computer!

480GB SSD by PNY is your best bet. Super Fast and reliable. I've replace all our laptop drives with 480GB PNY SSD. Super Strong Drive.

This was my first time installing and using a ssd and had some problems at first with pny cs2111 windows could not see the ssd had to return first one second one I had checked out by geek squad and they were able to resolve issue and format ssd for me now have it installed and working very well. would recommend this product but make shore you have it checked out as there seemed to be a problem with a batch of these ssd's that were not properly set up from manufacturer. otherwise seems to be top quality product, and best buy team was great on customer service as usual

I all ready had the pny cs1111 and this one the cs2111 was over a 100 megabytes faster than that one. like I said really fast.

This SSD performs as advertised and I've had no issues after 1 month of use. Read/write speeds are as expected.

Got this for to replace an old spinning drive, works great, very fast.

No Crashes as of yet. It also runs very fast, and its of good size, best of all worlds.
