I installed this in my daughter's Mac Brook Pro to double the RAM and it dramatically improved the machines performance. It has saved her from having to purchase a new MacBook Pro. As a graphic designer her RAM consumption far exceeds "normal" usage. We are somewhat lucky that she has an older model, because Apple has hard wired the RAM into the new units not allowing any expansion or replacement.

Being an IT Guy, this is the number one memory I go with! Quick and easy, flawless reliability and smooth install and go on the fly! Mom got a Compaq black Friday deal for a killer price, but of course RAM was where they skimped. Got her up and running very fast and well worth the investment for a mear couple bucks more!

I purchased a new Dell All-in-One computer which came stock with 4GM Memory and 1TB Hard Drive. As I had preferred to buy a pc with at least 6GB memory, I decided to upgrade my pc's memory to the max of 8GB by adding this 4GB memory module. Geek Squad installed it for me so I'm unsure of the ease of installing but I didn't wait long! PC runs great so I'm happy with this upgrade.

I bought this when I bought my new laptop. I didn't really test the laptop much prior to installing this to really give a comparison. However, installing it was as simple as plugging it in. It's not identical to the memory that was already installed, so I was hoping it would work with no issues. It worked immediately. My laptop is super fast with it.

My laptop came with Windows 7 Professional and 4 Gigs of memory. It was so slow it couldn't get out of its own way. I bought 4 Gigs of PNY DDRs Sdram and the difference it made was like night and day. Excellent product. It happened to be sale, too. Doulbe happy.

Have had no memory problems since I installed additional memory. It was easy to install and it could have been install by GeekSquad member when we had computer open to verify type of memory was needed. Geek Member said he would install it (1 minute job) what was going to charge me $50,,, No Way.

Definitely a must have for memory hogging applications and Windows 10. You will immediately notice a speed difference when upgrading your computer. You will end up keeping your laptop or desktop longer in the long run.

Bought this of the shelf, installed easily it in my Toshiba laptop. Worked flawlessly, increased overall speed of my laptop. Added it to my existing 2GB memory module card by replacing a 1 GB memory. Considering replacing the remaining 2GB memory with another 4 GB PNY to upgrade my laptop to 8GB.

There really isn't a whole lot to say about this product. It's a memory stick. It performs as it should. The price was great. Installed in a Dell Latitude E6520 with no issues whatsoever.

I used this to upgrade my MacBook Pro from standard 4GB ram to maxed out to 8Gb ram! Makes the MacBook faster and more responsive!! Awesome!!!

I had troubles with pny ram before, but this ram was good. It helped to boost my laptop, and stopped it from all the crashes it was experiencing prior with the old pny ram. I don’t know if the old ram was part of a bad batch, but the new one worked excellent

I found this in the store and had $5 off coupon which made it a great deal. The stick installed easily and worked perfectly. An easy good choice to give your laptop a little performance kick. I bought one each for two of my laptops and they both worked great.

I was looking for memory for my dell xps 1640, which I thought would be easy, the memory it uses is very specific, so this seemed to fit the bill, I gave it three stars because it was partly my fault I should have checked online to see if this laptop needed specific memory. You need to check very carefully for the memory module your laptop uses and also the operating system 32 or 64 bit makes a difference, memory could be one letter or number off and it can be incompatible.my computer has Intel chipset PM45 wich supports up to 8GB. The problem is a memory modules compatibility. only a specific memory like Samsung: DDR3 1066MHz // 4GB 2Rx8 PC3-8500S (07-10-F2) // M471B5273BH1-CF will work.

I purchased my new laptop before vacation and having had a lot of experience with computers, I knew that what ever amount of memory is in a stock computer, that it should be doubled. I bumped up the 4 gigs of memory to 8 gigs and the best part is the the extra 4 gigs was on sale.
