This new memory really made my computer run better and faster. Geek squad helped me make sure of compatibility .

I want to start his review by saying that this is not budget memory as others describe it. This is decently fast memory that doesn't cost a lot of money. Not only is it decently fast, it is also compatible with systems built 5 or more years ago. Im using it at its advertised speed(1866Mhz) on an Intel DH57DD motherboard, which is rated for 1033Mhz memory. Luckly, this motherboard is highly overclockable and I can get this memory's advertised speed plus, with a quad core i7 overclocked to 4.5Ghz. Truthfully, I didnt think this memory would even boot. Though, it did and has been running like a champ in our recording studios main computer. So, if you are looking for great memory, especially in an older system that has an overclockable motherboard like ours, look no further. This is fast, cheap, reliable and compatible with systems that support much slower DDR3 ram. Just make sure your motherboard supports 1.5v dual channel dims.

Memory is easy to install, took me all of about 2 minutes, and I was up and running Windows and all my games in no time. Bought 2 of these kits, but to save money just go ahead and buy the 16gb kit if you plan to add more memory later.

Increased RAM to make FarmVille load and run faster...didn't work as well as I hoped it would, however, other applications are running better. Unfortunately this is the maximum capacity of RAM for my desk top.

If you want something that you know your pc can handle, this is one to get. No matter what case you have it fits right in and as long as you have the right power supply is works so much!!

Price matched amazon when purchased, so got a really good price. Running underclocked at 1600MHz, the ram seems to get the job done well.

Wife's computer started BSOD so I ran a memtest and found the older memory was failing. Went to my local BB to grab some memory. The price was comparable to online pricing. Turned out to be faster memory than previous but the bios recognized it and the problem is now solved.

They fit perfectly in the motherboard and haven't failed. The computer recognized it and it was all good to go. Also easy to install.

Used this 2-stick memory kit to upgrade my Compaq/HP Presario CQ5720F desktop memory from 3GB to 8GB. My system was using approximately 85 to 90% of memory resources with all the background apps and one or two other apps actively running. With additional RAM, task execution and general performance has noticeably improved. I looked at various online purchase options and this was a very good value in $ per GB, and was able to buy online and pickup at a local Best Buy.

even though I didn't need the speed of 1866MHz for my PC it was nice to find the Pony memory in a 2 pack so they were matched while also increasing my speed on a 64 bit operating system

I bought these for a friends computer that only had 4GB. I didn't require the high clock settings these have (only needed 10600), but they worked flawlessly in a business workstation.

I replaced my old and bad memory kit with this new memory kit and everything was working a little faster. It was easy and took very minimal time to do.

Pny doesn't have the reputation as higher end ram but you can't beat the price mine runs great at 2133mhz. I bought a 2nd kit for my daughter's pc
