Customers are saying

Customers appreciate the XLR8 Gaming Single Fan NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER graphics card's strong performance and effective cooling capabilities, frequently citing its ease of installation and good value for the price. However, some customers note that the card can be noisy under load and that the price point may be high for some users. The single fan design is a point of both praise for its compact size and criticism for its potential noise.

Excellent card for a bargain price

I have an HP from 2016 and the card they provided (a 2GB GTX960) was a dog with Lightroom. This 1600 Super runs so much better, is quiet, is a short length (so it won't fill up my case), and uses the original 6 pin connector -plus- the 2-pin. Installation was fairly straightforward and the proper software was automatically downloaded/installed by Windows. It's half the price of a high-end card and is spec'd at the same power requirement as the older card it's replacing. This card checks all the boxes - price, speed, power req's, and it's quiet. I'll also note that, though its says it may be overclocked, I'm leaving it at its stock speed.

Great value card! Compare to Asus 1660s I find this card is better built, compact, with one big fan is more thermally efficient lower temperatures (see picture with two cards efficiency below). Gives stable 31.8 MH/s at ETH.

I put this card into a gaming system, and I'm running benchmarks in Direct-X 9, 10, 11, 12 at around 90% Worldwide using Passmark benching software. I am using EVGA's OC software with no problems at all. Low temps accelerated high-end graphics @ 3840 X 2160, Antialiasing X 4, Anisotropic X 16. Excellent card!

1660 super is a very good card but the price is insane, I remember this being around $200 or less before 2021 but it’s good for 1080p gaming and size of gpu very small so it will fit almost any case which is good

So this card actually worked with zero conflicts. My previous card was an AMD R9 380. I purchased the AMD RX560 and it rebooted and froze at random. The NVIDIA 1660 Super has zero random reboots or freezes and is much faster. Absolutely recommend this card!

The video card is of excellent quality has a beautiful heatsink with a unique fan of large dimensions and therefore very quiet! being an 1660 @ 6gb ram it works flawlessly on high settings with Cyberpunk2007 and Mortal Kombat 11 It doesn't come with a cd for drivers or updates but you can download from Nvidia's Geforce website. I've had for just 2 months now and no complaints as it works perfectly almost like 2080 card.

Pretty good graphics card for the money, especially right now with the current shortage of gpus. I mainly play Call of Duty: Warzone and consistently get 144+ fps on high settings. If you're looking to play on a 1080p monitor, this card isn't bad.

These are excellent GPUs for mining - I am able to get 31.85MH/s @ 74W power on these cards. Very efficient for mining for now and in the future post EIP1559. A 6 x PNY 1660 Super is taking a total of 486W at the wall.

Is a decent card for playing at 1080p at close to 60 fps on high settings. This particular card is loud and doesn't cool very well out of the box. Expect gam noise and rattling noises under load. After insulating the plastic shroud with foam tape and applying some better thermal paste, it works much better.

Good little 25 mh cards. Pretty out dated for gaming though as 8gb cards have been a minimum standard for gaming for several years now. As a display works good. Way over priced though, should be 150$ card going for 550 bucks. Fer same price a 6600xt offers a way better deal.

This small form factor 1660super is a champ. I use it for mining ETHEREUM and for 76 watts it hashes 31.81 all day long. It runs cool with the large single fan. This card has to have the memory underclocked by -502 in order to hash this high. I guess it stabilized and tightened the memory timings. 4month ROI

This card is great choice for 1080p Gaming. It will play most game titles at 1080p high or ultra settings at or over 60fps. I bought this card to replace my old RX-580 because it died out on me. This card was about a 20-40 percent increase in performance over my old card depending on what game titles were being used. This card is being used with my 144hz monitor and keeps up with it for most game titles. This card has very good low power consumption. Under full load usage the temps for the card stay between 60-70 degrees while gaming for a few hours and it hasn't gone over 70 degrees while gaming as well. If you are looking for a 2k resolution budget card for over 60fps with high or ultra settings, this card can run at 2k decently. It can game at 2k resolution at medium to high settings for 60 fps with graphic settings tweaked in game but this card's sweet spot is definitely for 1080p gaming. The only gripe I have with this card is that it is loud under load. Its not overwhelming loud but but at full load you can here the fan spin up and it is noticeable. Overall I think its a solid choice for 1080p gaming

Bitcoin miners are buying up graphic cards, creating shortages an driving up prices. I am happy to find this one at a reasonable price. It works flawlessly and allowed me to enjoy flight sim 2020 which I could not do with my old gtx 745. Lesson learned: uninstall old drivers then download and install the latest Nvidia drivers first. Since I jumped those steps my system boot would abort and shut down. I had to boot to safe mode with networking (which uses on board graphic), download and install the Nvidia interface software then restart a couple of times to complete installation. The more expensive versions of this have two fans vs this one large fan. They carry a significantly larger $ tag. I have no heat issues. Now to fully enjoy this I plan to purchase a 27 inch QHD monitor to replace my 24 inch FHD.

This PNY 1660S provides decent mid-range 1080p gaming performance and runs surprisingly cool for being equipped with a singly fan cooler. The small size might be a plus for some who are trying to find a card that they can stuff in a smaller pre-built PC. It's not the best value right now, but I don't think it's fair to dock points because of pricing due to the inflated prices we're seeing right now on just about every GPU.

This graphics card was reasonably priced. It performs well on games such as Cyberpunk, CSGO, Overwatch, and many others. No problem running 1080p and 60 FPS on all games I've tried. Temps are relatively cool when gaming for hours on end and have had no issues with installation or performance. Considering many of the latest graphics cards are either overpriced (scalped) or out of stock, this was a great temporary card that can last me a few years on high end games and CADD rendering.

For a small card, this 1660 super is a beast. Keeps cool while gaming, and an excellent card for 1080 ultra in pretty much every game. A bit pricey in comparison to the 3060 (at msrp) but this card will still be great for a long while at 1080p.

Awesome card for the money and size. My son can brag about his frame rate while playing his friends while playing online on their new Cyber power pcs. It has made my 6 year old I7-6700 a beast. This card just fit in side my OEM HP 550-177c. I had to upgrade the power supply too and luckily this version of HP used a standard 24 pin motherboard with a 4 pin cpu. I went overkill with a cx650M but it is modular for better cable management for the small case. If you are trying to upgrade an OEM be sure it has standard ATX power connectors. Because if it doesn't and you have to use adapters on your motherboard to upgrade your power supply, no matter what graphics card you get you will be throttled by the power limitations of the board. Research it online first.
