Patrick and the other guy was a get actor together

It was an okay movie. I have seen better. I won't watch it over and over.

Point Break is one of those movies I actually first became aware of during my teenage years. I also recently watched this film curious to understand my late adoptive mother’s fascination with Patrick Swayze (who plays Bodhi in point Break)when she was alive (she admitted that Patrick Swayze was one of the men she found attractive). There are other major stars attach to Point Break as well such as Keanu Reeves (as FBI Agent Johnny Utah), Garey Busey (FBI Agent Angelo Pappas), Lori Petty (Tyler Endicott), Lee Tergesen (Rosie) and others. Johnny Utah is given information by Angelo Pappas about the unsolved bank robberies. There were 27 banks in 3 years and they would often be in and out in 90 seconds. There are four men involved and they go to the robberies dressed as these late presidents; Lyndon B. Johnson, Richard Nixon, Ronald Regan, and Jimmy Carter. To complicate matters, Johnny Utah is never quite the same emotionally once he hears about Tyler Endicott and runs into her in person. Pappas is naturally concerned about catching the robbers as quick as possible because they only hit during the summer. One way that Johnny Utah strives to go undercover is by learning what it takes to surf in order to simultaneously get closer to Tyler Endicott and gain the trust of Bodhi and his crew. Anthony Kiedis of the Red Hot Chili Peppers makes a few cameos in Point Break as well (in the role of Tone). Another cameo feature in Point Break is the late Christopher Lee Pettiet (I remembered him from Don’t Tell Mom The Babysitter is Dead). Anyhow, Johnny Utah and Angelo Pappas have their work cut out for them in trying to get the bank robbers because the men have robbed so many banks to the point where they have learned how to stay one step ahead of the law authorities. It also doesn’t help that Tyler and Bodhi are strongly connected together and Utah is portrayed as being in emotional conflict due to being so much in love with Tyler while being aware that he must cooperate with Pappas.

This is one of my all time favorite movies. There is action throughout this imaginative film. Keanu Reeves was born to play his role as Johnny Utah, a cop turned rebel surfer. Reeves' and Swayze's acting is done with the utmost conviction, bringing a true sense of realism to the audience. Blu-Ray delivers the greatest clarity of the film to date. AMAZING! You must buy this film if you love action, great acting, unique story, and the 'dead presidents'. Go get it.

This is one of my all time favorite movies. Very entertaining, both my adult (24) son and I have re-watched it many times. I really enjoy Patrick Swayze and Keanu Reeves together and gorgeous cinematoghraphy. Realistic emotions of the characters. A classic. I've owned in every format. A great movie to enjoy more than once.

This movie is a great roller coaster ride and one of Keanu Reeves best prior to making the matrix. They must have done something right, as they stole the same story line to make 'The Fast and Furious.' If you are a fan of the movie then you will not be disapointed by it's debut on blu-ray. It has all the same special features as the "Pure Adrenaline Edition" they released a few years ago.

there are two types of people on this planet; people who love Point Break and absolute heathen scum. terrific extras (also on the corresponding dvd) are included too

This is one of those action movies that you watch when you're younger and keep loving as an adult. You can relate to both characters which makes it fun. It's great owning this classic and now I can watch it whenever I please!

This movie is everyone st their best. Keanu is amazing Bd the director is really conning into her own. Yeah that’s right a woman directed this American cult favorite.

man was a sleeper when it came out but swayze and reeves took this movie and ran with it...great casting and action to good not to own if you love the 80's

Obviously, the movie was filmed prior to HD technology so the move to Blu-ray isn't perfect, but the movie is great no matter what!

The movie is great, but what I was looking for is the soundtrack to the movie. The songs in yhe movie are awsome

i think with the way they ended the movie they should have made a 2nd movie. but other than that it was a good movie with good acting.

The best point break movie. Has a great story. Must see.

Great transfer, decent audio. $9.99 price well worth.

I hate to give a bad review on a movie I grew up watching and love so much, but the quality of this transfer to blu-ray is horrible. Very grainy. They could have done a way better job .
