    It may have been 20 years but the game still feels like being a kid again and the story is great and when you beat your rival to be champion was the sweetest part epic in fact

    I bought this game so I could try to complete my pokedex. Just a heads up, you either have to have a friend with one of the three originals or a second 3DS with one of the games on it to trade. You can't trade across games on your own 3DS. It is great otherwise.

    Missed the original on the Gameboy and I'm so pleased it was released for the 3DS! Exactly as I remembered my friends playing it with all the convenience of a backlight - ha!

    Ah, the beginnings of the series, playing with the original 150 pokemon, traveling through Kanto (again), its a good nostalgia trip
