    Our kids love these sets. The only bad thing about them is that you can't really play with them, so if you have a kiddo that's not content with just looking at it and playing with it gently - put it up on a high shelf.

    Still amazed that there is pokemon building block of pokemon (Charizard, gayrados, pikachu and more!) easy to assemble and seems to be cheaper at best buy that it is at walmart or gamestop.

    This is a great set. The chizzard is big and has a lot of little parts but it comes with easy to follow instructions.

    Bricks are excellent quality, and compatible with the toy bricks you are thinking of. My 8 y/o done was able to build on his own.
