The visuals are gorgeous, the story is richer than ever, and the gameplay feels polished and modern. Mega Evolutions shine, exploration is fun, and the quality-of-life upgrades make this one of the smoothest Pokémon experiences to date. A must-play for any fan!

I’m really impressed with Pokémon Legends Z-A. The game runs beautifully on the Nintendo Switch — smooth performance, great visuals, and minimal loading times. The world feels alive and immersive, with plenty to explore and discover. The gameplay strikes a nice balance between classic Pokémon mechanics and the open-world freedom introduced in Legends: Arceus.
The graphics are vibrant, the soundtrack is excellent, and the story is engaging from start to finish. It’s clear that Game Freak has refined the formula to create something special here. Whether you’re a long-time Pokémon fan or new to the series, Pokémon Legends Z-A is absolutely worth playing.
Highly recommended!

This game is a great addtion to the series! Has a good refreshing feel in a single environment. I love the advacements to the new battlwle system and new mega evolutions.

Excellent innovation on the core series, the moving during battle and addition of plus moves as a form of mastery are great, the story is pretty good so far, not quite done there yet, but I’m loving the characterization! Runs much better than I thought it would, considering I’m running it on the OLED switch. Overall a great Pokémon game!

Pokémon Z/A delivers a fun and nostalgic experience while still introducing fresh ideas that keep the gameplay engaging. The visuals are vibrant, and the updated mechanics add a new layer to battles and exploration, even though they could use a bit more refinement. The overall atmosphere captures what makes Pokémon games so enjoyable, and the story is engaging enough to stay invested from start to finish.
That said, I do wish the game leaned more into an open-world approach similar to Pokémon Legends: Arceus. While the environments are well-designed, the more structured map can feel limiting at times. A seamless open world with greater freedom to explore would have significantly improved immersion.
Overall, Pokémon Z/A is a strong entry in the series but still needs a little more improvement to truly stand out. With more polished mechanics and an open-world design like Arceus, it could easily have been a five-star experience.

I’m currently playing on my Nintendo switch lite and it runs smoothly. More than half way through the game and still no bugs or glitches. Honestly if I was concerned about the graphics then I would just stick with my PS5. The game and story is so fun and the battle mechanics is a fresh add on. Highly recommend.

TLDR the game is enjoyable and fun!! It's definitely still a pokemon game but the live battle system is a fresh experience and the characters are quirky but I enjoy that. Only thing that the game really needs is voice acting for the more detailed cutscenes. Without it the silence is deafening.
