A fun remake of classic Pokemon games! Just a lot of fun and they take out a lot of the annoyances of the classic games.

I’ve been playing this game for a few days now and I have to say I love it!! It’s brings back all the nostalgia of playing Red, Blue and Yellow as a kid while adding some fun mechanics from Pokemon Go. I had a little trouble figuring out the best way to catch with the joy con controller, but once you get the hang of it it’s not so bad.....also, you can skip this issue by simply playing on the little switch screen. Looking forward to discovering what else the game has to offer!!

Before I start the review I have a couple of points to make. One im a beginner in terms of pokemon adventure games. Two, this game was stated at the start to be for beginners and introduce new people to pokemon. That said, this game is fantastic, a dream come true for me. I have a bad neck so handhelds were out. So I always wish that a pokemon adventure game would come out on a console. Finally its here. So this game is a re-imagining of pokemon yellow. I love the fact that you start out with eevee which was one of my favorite pokemon. Two things that I dont like which made me deduct a star are 1) You cant battle wild pokemon, you can only try to capture it and hope for the best. 2) you have to use a joy con, cant use the pro controller. Cant wait to built my collection.

I love all the Pokemon games! I saw this for the switch - which I had just bought, and knew I HAD to have it! I have had all the nintendo ds games as they were originally released and I loved Pokemon go! This game is great too I just dont have much free time to play! I would like to add friends to play with online and since getting my online switch membership - hopefully Ill be able to look into that!

Really looked foward to this game ever since it launched and finally managed to grab this on a really good sale. Overall the gameplay is soo unique but it holds a bit of the classic nostalgia to it for the old school fans to enjoy. The online play is probably one of the top things i love about this and it reminds me of the old pokemon stadium on the N64 but with the inclusion of fighting online and the megaevolve feature on a few of the pokemon.

This is great fun for anyone who knows and loves the series or anyone looking to get into it. It's a great blend between the classic games and Pokemon Go. There are lots of quality of life changes to the classic formula. Original 151 Pokemon only. You can transfer from Pokemon Go (the ability to do this opens up later in the game), Once done, you cannot transfer them bacj. Very charming and easy to play, so it's great for kids as well. Definitely recommend it.

Love the new HD Pokémon game! Has great new features like interacting with Eevee and maintaining a relationship with Eevee. Graphics are great. I know it’s a re-work of the first one so I know they can’t change the kind of outdated setting too much, but it could have used a little more of a creative touch with environments. Areas can appear a bit bland compared to past Pokémon games on 3Ds. Also trading menu at Pokecenter isn’t in this one. Almost seems like a downer because it makes trading random instead. Other than that, the game is super fun and a great first HD edition of a Pokémon game to the switch. Eevee is the best and I’m glad they chose it as one of the main companions other than Pikachu.

I thought i'd be fine if I just caught a few. You know, catch one or two on the weekends with friends. But, soon I started catching 'em on the weekdays before work, and soon enough even before work. Pokemon is no joke. They don't say "Gotta catch 'em all" for nothing. If things start getting out of hand, please seek help. You don't want to end up like I did, wife and kids gone, out of work, and looking for that next catch in a back ally.

If you've been playing Pokemon since forever, this will probably be a little too simple. But for newbies, like my five year old, it's a good introduction. Plus playing with Eevee is adorable!

Fun game. It is a revamped version of the original Pokemon games (Blue, Red). Lots of new features and fun to play.
Not much replay value once you beat the game/collect all the Pokemon but still a lot of fun.

I remember playing the original Red/Blue/Yellow back in middle school and have loosely kept up with the series over the past 20 years playing at least one game of each generation. Reliving Kanto in a 3d environment and hearing all the classic songs revamped gave me chills the first time. This game is an easy 80/100 as a stand alone title, but if you have nostalgia on your side it boosts it up to near perfect. I rate it 95/100

This game is a remake of Pokemon Yellow from the 90s but with little differences here and there to make it easier for people to play. For example you cant fight Pokemon in the wild its only through trainer and gym leader battles. Also the way you catch Pokemon is the same way as you catch them like in Pokemon Go minus the actual walking part. I did enjoy the nostalgic trip and seeing a childhood game from the ground up made i just wish they didn't tone down the difficulty of a game i played when I was 9

I enjoyed playing this game and love the fact its compatible with Pokémon Go on the phone. After I beat the game, I stopped playing though. I enjoy the battling and having the best team to become a Pokémon Master! I hope they come out with more Let's Go versions with newer generations so that we can transfer in our other Pokémon from Pokémon Go into the games!

While at first I was apprehensive about the GO mechanic integration, Pokemon: Let's Go, Pikachu/Eevee! has quickly become an addiction of which I haven't experienced with Pokemon in a long time. A week in and I've gotten every badge, beaten the league, knocked off several master trainers, stomped Red, and caught over 1000 Pokemon, with no end in sight. This is so much better than anyone expected, highly recommended.
