Customers are saying

Customers find value in the engaging gameplay and nostalgic elements of Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu!, particularly enjoying the innovative Poké Ball Plus controller. Many appreciate the game's ease of use and consider it fun for players of all ages, although some find the price point a bit high and the Poké Ball Plus somewhat small. The simplified catching mechanics are a point of contention for some, while others wish for a more challenging experience. Overall, the game is praised for its charming remake of a classic, but opinions vary on certain aspects of the design and price.

Finally we see this pokemon game on a big screen! Great game, though there indeed are some imperfection. The poke-ball is awesome, but way too over-priced! Only fit for this one game right now. I won't recommend that for now. If you have a friend, try it out for a few times. After a few hours you'll get bored.

An Excellent Starting Point in the Pokemon series

Pokemon Let's Go is the latest entry in the Pokemon franchise and serves as a combination of a traditional Pokemon RPG and Pokemon Go, the wildly successful mobile game. The main story and mechanics are mostly a remake of Pokemon Yellow and have you traveling across Kanto with your partner Pikachu (or Eevee in the other version). Wild Pokemon are seen on the overview map so you always know what you're going to encounter (makes for easy shiny hunting and avoiding unwanted Pokemon) and wild battles are replaced with the Pokemon Go capture mode (all party Pokemon recieve experience for captures). This bundle includes the Pokeball Go Plus accessory in addition to the game.Alone, it sells for $50 so right off the bat, you save $10 on this. It can be used both as the Pokemon Go Plus accessory, as well as the controller for Pokemon Let's Go. Kids especially will enjoy using the Pokeball controller to catch Pokemon. Overall this is a great product for someone who's a die-hard Pokemon fan or someone who's less experienced and wants to start exploring the series.

This is a good Pokemon introduction game as it is easier to play than some of the others. The pokeball controller adds to the fun of the game and is a great accessory.

Excellent game, charming pokeball controller. The pokeball is a much better Pokemon Go accessory than it is a Switch controller though so set expectations accordingly

This game is amazing, I loved that they made a pokeball to go with this game! My 4 year old son has such a blast "throwing his pokeball" to catch a pokemon.

This game is so laid back but in the best way possible. It doesn't feel too easy and you get to play/ catch with the original pokemon from the the Kanto region.

The lack of abilities and hold items at first glance may put off old players, but honestly, the game isn't for you. NEW players can finally get into the series with similar mechanics to gen 1 with much better gameplay. During my playthrough I never had to grind, even though there were no wild battles. There are SOME wild battles still, however, including legendaries and anything in the original Red/Blue games that had an overworld avatar. You don't have to worry about not being able to catch the pokemon if you knock them out as there's a capture mini-game AFTER you defeat it.

I never played the original Pokemon Red/Blue so the game itself is brand new to me. I'm not burdened by childhood memories that aren't being lived up to. However, for me personally, it was a fun experience that reminded me of those RPG games I played on the NES. As an adult, I enjoy the simplicity of this version. I don't have time to grind these days. As for the Pokeball Plus - I wasn't sure at first but grew to love it. So much so we wanted another one for the family so we ended up buying Let's Go Eevee. Sure, there are a few extra things you can only do with the Joy-Cons but for 95% of the game - you're not going to miss these things. The throwing motion is fun and mostly intuitive. With a little practice I've gotten pretty good with them. Occasionally there seems to be a connection error or something because the ball will go flying off on it's own. For my money, the best feature is that you can play this game with one hand. That makes sipping on your favorite beverage easy.

I never got a chance to play Pokémon Yellow when it came out, and this is a faithful retelling if that game with a slightly easier bent. With few exceptions, you don’t have to battle Pokémon to catch them. Instead it relies on finding them in the wild (where the can obviously be encountered or avoided) and capture them with a pokeball exactly how you would in Pokémon Go. The ability to take your Pokémon on walks in the pokeball is a big game breaking since I had a level 40 charizard before I got to my second gym, but it’s still a fun and easy way to level up your Pokémon.

Pokemon: Let's Go is just like the old school gameboy pokemon games, but more interactive. So much nostalgia. It's hard to put the game down. If you really want Mew, then the bundle is worth it, just a little pricey. the pokeball is cool to use but I like playing the game in my hands.

I bought this for my brother as a gift and he's really enjoying it. Got a chance to play it a little and it's a fun new take on the classic games. Game play is pretty similar to some of the older games. The included controller is cool to own and have, but not really needed.

The story line is the usual one we know: quest for badges and battle Team Rocket. There are some tweaks and surprises to the game. I highly recommend the poke ball accessory for the switch. It adds a very special dimension to the game: throwing a poke ball to catch a Pokémon
