This is my favorite Pokémon game. Anyone can play.

Best since Red and Blue, if not better. Charming, interesting plot, great characters (Prof. Kukui is THE BEST), fun new Pokemon, great music and style. I love Pokemon, but this is the first Pokemon game I've enjoyed as a game, independent of my love for the franchise and experiences it gives me, in over 15 years.

This is a great game for new people to series, you don't have to feel like you have to play the previous games in order to enjoy this game.

On the top of the Christmas list and didn't disappoint. Was easy for my 7 year old to start playing without adult assistance and he loves it!

Wow, I had fun with this one. Pokemon Sun is definitely an upgrade from the shoddy pokemon X and Y

As some other reviews said, this game felt slower and gym battles are missed. It seems a little dumbed down too, but that's not necessarily bad for new or young players because it makes it more approachable. I appreciate some of the changes made (ride pokemon, swapping in newly caught pokemon), but overall none of the characters really left an impression. Okay for passing the time, but other things easily distract me from it.

My 8 yrs old son plays this game for hours at a time. Loves it when they evolve and is always showing me the new moves he's learned.

My stepdaughter got this game for Christmas and has been glued to it since. It's fun and interactive for any one who likes Pokémon

I haven't gotten to play too much yet. But so far I love this game. Lots of differences from previous games which is refreshing.

Pokemon Sun is a good installment to the franchise, but I enjoyed playing Pokemon X and Y better. But the new features are nice.

Very kid friendly, classic Pokémon game for handheld device. A little repetitive at times but level playing field for all ages.

My daughter loved this game.. its pricey just like every game these days.. but atleast it keeps her occupied on a boring day..

I loved Pokemon X, this one is still good but it's to different for me. If you're a fan you'll definitely enjoy playing it.

The game is good and works well and you just load and play. The con could be different from the other games in this series.

The game is very creative even though it has a very slow start it replaced things like gyms and put in fun island challenges

Kids have played at almost every chance they are allowed to have screen time. They love the graphics as well as the content.

While overall not a giant fan of the Pokemon series, this was a decent game that gave me dozens of hours of entertainment.

This pokemon game is better than X/Y ever was, it feels a lot more challenging and I like the Alola form of the old pokemon.
