    Pokemon Will Be Pokemon

It is what I expected. I waited a year to get this game and got it on sale which never happens. I am enjoying the game so far and it is as Pokemon as it gets. Let’s Go was a good change to formula and it is nice to be to form. The graphics could look a little better and I do not like the hand holding, but besides from that you cannot go wrong. I just wish it arrived in better condition. My case has two holes in it. One in the front and one in back. That made me unhappy and shows Best Buy is lazy with their quality control.

I Purchased the Pokemon Sword on Switch for my Son, and he absolutely loved it! Seems like it is easier story mode to follow then the original Pokemon games, which had confusing mazes that were very frustrating. I myself have beaten the Pokemon Sword and my Buddy from work has the Shield, so we are planning on teaming up and Conquering all of it 100%

The newest Pokémon game is pretty good. It has no national Pokédex which makes it had to know if it’ll have your favorite Pokémon. Plus side is the Pokémon camp but beware the lag. If you plan on having it online often it will lag.

I was looking for a new game, in which I could have hours of fun. This was the perfect game. 400 pokemon. Great story. Good graphics and easy to play. One of my best purchases recently

From the few hours that I've played so far in this game, I can say that it's another great entry in the Pokemon mainline series. Pros: Less tutorials. They will let you skip most of the beginner tutorials in this game, which is great for veterans of the series. A lot of new pokemon within the first few areas of the game. The wild area is a lot of fun to explore and meet other players. Colorful characters with a lot of personality. Much easier for people to train their pokemon for competitive play. Cons: Still very similar to the rest of the pokemon games. They did not add a lot of new things besides the Wild area and the Dyna/Gigantamaxing. The graphics aren't as much of an upgrade from the previous mainline pokemon game, which is a little disappointing since this is now on the Switch. Overall, if you have enjoyed the other mainline Pokemon games you will definitely enjoy this one as well. The cons can be a big issue for many people, but I think it depends on whether you care about new mechanics or graphics in a Pokemon game.

A Pokemon game to rival Gold

Great Pokémon game for veterans from the red and blue days, and newcomers alike. I myself have played since Red and Blue as a kid and have played every entry in the main series since that point. HeartGold or Gold would have to be my absolute favorite, but this is probably a very big rival to that. When you go to finally participate in your gym batttles, for the first time it feels like you’re Ash from the original Pokemon series. It’s big and there’s a crowd and it’s so awesome to experience. The new Pokémon are amazing (starters and wild both) as well as the new evolutions and iterations of existing Pokémon. I loved experimenting with different Pokémon in this series and finding new favorites when in the past, I usually like to stick with my current favorites as much as I can. The actual story is usual Pokémon cuteness and corniness, but its also pretty interesting and doesn’t get old. Recommend to anyone who has a Switch and the time to play the game.

This game is amazing. I’ve always played Pokémon games. This one is on a little bit of the more of a slower pace than the other games, but it’s still really good. It’s a good game to play if you’re just starting Pokémon.

A great Pokémon game ! This one was a bit easier for the younger audiences, but still worthwhile for more experienced fans. One of my most played Pokémon experiences and definitely on my top 10 list !

Its a great concept for a new somewhat open world Pokémon game. They tried to make it open world but its half, half. I love how pokemon peek out of the grass and you can either go for them or avoid them. The game is very super extremely easy, its made so you go through the npc fights and have enough lvl to fight the gym leaders, very straightforward and easy to win, there's no HM cut or HM surf or HM Fly or exploration gadgets, its either a flying taxi Pokémon, your bike, and bike turns into boat bike and bike stuff. Its pretty much bike and bike that, bike races. Giant pokemon are so funny and weird, its fun to watch and the story is cute.

A Wonderful First Step into Pokemon's Future

I solely play Pokemon games, and the main series RPG's at that. Having jumped back into titles like Alpha Sapphire, Y, and White 2 in the past year and a bit, I was itching for a new experience in the world of Pokemon, but was hoping to be satisfied at least as much as I have been with the previous titles (check out White 2 if you are interested in DS/3DS games...what a great region and entry that was!) SwSh has been slandered by a few for the removal of the beloved National Dex, and I can understand the disappointment. Completing the White 2 National Dex was my first time, and quite a few of my favorites didn't make the cut for SwSh. Having said that, this should not be a reason to avoid these new games! The regular story, while slightly less compelling as some of the previous series entries, makes use of the Switch's graphics-capabilities well. Speaking of, the addition of the Wild Area is a fresh take for Pokemon. Online play (additional Nintendo Online subscription required) is fun so long as you find people and friends to play with via their Switch friend codes (check out Reddit and Discord threads for this, plenty of people want to connect!), and Max Raid Battles and a host of catchable Pokemon in the area make for a consistent reason to continue playing into the postgame. There's so much more I could write about, from the creative new Pokemon designs, abilities, items, and moves, but perhaps its best you find out more on that on your own adventure into Galar!

I grew up playing Pokémon on the game boy color and have fond memories of Pokémon snap and hey you pikachu on N64. So imagine my surprise when I picked up this title and enjoyed myself. Battles and gameplay are ultimately not a huge challenge, yet wins still feel rewarding. Dressing my trainer up in different outfits is fun. The storyline is iffy but meh, it’s not horrible. Overall it’s silly and fun and will keep any fan happy for hours.
