It was amazing start to my pokemon collection after all.

My daughter and I had so much fun playing with this. We played it again and again and it is AWEsome watching her read and do math and have FUN doing it. They've even ordered the deck so as to avoid some of the pitfalls that come with randomly sorted/shuffled decks.

Good introduction to the any child or adult who wants to get into the Pokemon Trading Card Game. It comes with 3 decks. Once you get familiar, you could get into advanced level decks. It is very similar to playing the Pokemon video games that peple are familiar with few rule changes. I purchased to play/teach my niece how to play Pokemon TCG.

My son absolutely loves It. One of his favorite toys so far.

My three sons 10 and under are starting to get into Pokemon, and we decided to get this to help us learn the game better (we were tired of double checking rulebooks a few times a game). Comes with three decks, a great game board, a coin, and some damage counters. Everything you need to start playing!

The cards that come inside are valued more then the price

A lot of great cards for the price but slightly annoying how Nintendo set up the packaging for the decks (corners of the cards may suffer).

This is a perfect set for beginners to play the game . It has three decks and they all are pretty fare when playing against one another. It taught my 6 year old nephew about 5-6 games to learn. If you want to learn how to actually play the game this is the right buy.

I wanted to start collecting/playing pokemon cards with my 2 boys. This was the perfect set to buy. It taught us how to play the game and gave us each a starting deck of cards.

Very nice starter set. The cards are great and the decks are fun to play with. The board that you play on could be used for any deck and it very sturdy. My son loved it and is able to learn some of the mechanics on how to play.

Awesome game! My son 7 year old picked it out. And he successfully battled his older brother. It was there first pokemon battle played. This game teaches you how to play the Pokemon TCG. I havent played a pokemon battle in nearly 20 years i forgot everything. This game will get you back upto date playing the pokemon TCG and i highly recommend it for anyone wanting to learn or anyone with a pokemon collection comes with 3 starter decks lightning fire and psychic 3x decks include raichu v , charizard v and mewtwo v are included.

My kids likes pokemon a lot and this academy box set was the best gift that was purchases. Every day they are having fun with this set and they get never bored of the pokemon cards.

was gift for kids. i think its a waste of money, but they keep asking for them. i hate that they are always disappointed after they get these box sets. the look on their face, constant confirmation that its a waste of money. they do still have fun sorting them and playing w/ friends w/ them.
