Great game for my grandsons Birthday gift. He absolutely loved it. If he’s Happy then Grandpas Happy.

Love pokemon, was waiting for this to drop in price, $40 sum is not bad. Graphics and mechanics upgraded with faster speeds and smooth graphics. Recommend, it is perfect for those who enjoyed classic pokemon games.

I don't recall much from the stories of Pokémon DP, XY, or BW 1/2 as I've played them long ago. Pokémon Brilliant Diamond is a remaster for the Switch, but retains the chibi art style of the original games. I personally love this art style, while I know some players in the community do not like this style or aesthetic found in the original games or games like Link's Awakening on the Switch.
The game did get rushed from a development standpoint. That was discovered with the day 1 patch to replace the placeholder original music with their remastered copies, as well as fixes for exploits discovered by the community. While I never personally ran into these issues, the game overall felt polished and the graphics were amazing. The grand underground was a welcome return and the redesign was astounding, especially with the ability to encounter rare Pokémon while exploring.
If you're looking for a Pokémon Platinum experience or a complete overhaul, this probably isn't the game for you. If you're looking to scratch the Pokémon itch, miss the grand underground, and aren't put off by the art style, then this will do perfectly.

It's a fun and easy game to play (with its challenges of course) - It reminds me a lot of the game I had when I was younger with my DS. I haven't made it very far but I enjoy the world building in this game.

This product is an alright purchase for young children and those who haven't played the original games that this Remaster is based on.
If you are somebody that has played the older games, this game doesn't come recommended. It isn't a faithful remaster, is filled with some bugs, and is inconsistent with quality of life changes. The remasters of previous generations (like Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire, and HeartGold/SoulSilver) were quality remasters that also were consistent with the concurrent games of that generation. Those games raised the bar for remasters, but this game falls short. So, I personally don't recommend it for people like me. Like I said before, younger kids might enjoy it.
However, if you only really care about the better graphics and want to catch several Pokemon that aren't in Sword and Shield, this game accomplishes that.
Regarding Best Buy's shipping of this product. It did everything well. No complaints regarding the shipping and receiving of my physical copy.

Both kids give this two thumbs up, and apparently this is a remake of an older (well loved) Pokemon game. While I was never into Pokemon myself, these games will keep someone happily entertained for a good amount of time. What more can you ask for in a $60 Switch game?

My favorite Pokémon games are from the DS era, and this perfectly brings back the magic of the originals with a new coat of paint, being the 3D graphics. I am completely fine with it, and I feel like it fits in with Link’s Awakening and Animal Crossing’s art styles.

This is another great game from the Pokémon collection. I purchased it for the kids for Christmas and they love it. This is their third Pokémon game. Great game, with very nice graphics and a storyline.
