Very fun. Its still a bit buggy, maybe some updates will fix it, but nonetheless it is still easy to get lost in the nastalgia of catching Pokémon!

I love the new open world concept of the game. It makes it a little easier to choose your own path and what you want to do., while keeping the same type of pokemon game going. One of the downsides is that just like recent pokemon games, it doesnt mean a lot to build up Pokemon rosters and fill your pokedex. Your starter is basically the only one you need to use and it takes away from wanting to truly battle with all the different pokemon. I want the old roster style back where you had to work to level up your Pokemon.

I have never been much of a Pokemon fan but the open world and cool new Pokémon designs persuaded me to give it a try. I found the story sweet and not too overbearing. The depth of gameplay is surprisingly deeper than I thought it would be. Traveling the open world and catching pokemon and battling is everything I hopes it would be

Pokemon Scarlet dazzles with its vibrant world, introducing captivating new Pokemon and innovative mechanics. The game’s dynamic battles and engaging storyline keep players hooked, while its stunning visuals breathe life into every corner. With its blend of nostalgia and fresh features, Scarlet offers an exhilarating journey for both veteran and new trainers

I am sure many players by now know that this game is glitchy. Game Freak pushed it out far too quickly. It is a real shame, I hope they have a patch for the multitude of glitches soon. Other than that, its an okay game. Three objectives rather than just victory road. The open world is a welcome change, no more being forced on a certain path. It is still a pokemon game in the end.

Always been a fan of pokemon games and this one takes it to the next level! Despite hearing about performance issues… i have yet to notice any problems playing the game other than slower frame rates when using handheld mode. Don’t listen to the haters. Ive been playing since red/vlue and this one is a huge upgrade

The game is poorly optimized and definitely did not deserve to be released when it was. Anything more than 10 feet in front of the character runs at like 10fps. There have been multiple texture issues and graphical glitches. The game itself could be very good if the current issues did not exist. Its just so hard to be immersed in an experience that is constantly reminding you that you're just playing a broken game. I'm not saying people should avoid the game if they're a passionate fan of the series, but for a newer player give Sword and Shield a try first or even one of the Let's Go Pikachu/Eevee ones. If this game sees improvements after future updates I'll update my review.

I haven’t seen any of the “game-breaking” bugs that many have been complaining about. I have seen poor renderings, occasional lag, and an overall visual experience that would leave most desiring more. Which is a fair complaint. But this is the most fun I’ve had playing a Pokemon game in a long, long time. Theres so much to do and the storyline(s) kept me enthralled til the end. Just make sure to close the game (instead of suspending it) and you’ll be fine.
