I thought I would try this before spending 400 bucks on a go pro. Pleasantly surprised. Great looking videos with decent sound. The users manual is useless that comes with the unit. Go to the site and print off a better and a little more deatailed info. Overall glad I chose the polaroid. We'll see how it holds up. Plans to use it a lot this summer.

great overall I like the 2 sizes of recording and the fact that it automatically position at start sturdy I hasve not dared put it under water to see under my boat ;-)

This is my 2nd, as the first had a faulty gasket, that leaked during the initial whitewater excursion. It was replaced for free by Best Buy, and the 2nd has worked great. Takes very good still photos, and the video quality is very good. I like that it doesn't need an external waterproof housing, and the fisheye lens has an extremely wide angle of view. It has a very stable anti vibration feature, and this was very evident when I filmed a football game while holding it by hand. I compared it to the Go Pro, and feel I got more bang for the buck, with very similar quality

I bought this mainly for recording my bike rides, but have used this all around the house and on trips to capture important but too brief moments with an incredibly powerful camera in a tiny package. The thing that really separates this cam from other action cameras is the image stabilization. Additionally, this camera is waterproof without additional housing (although the IO port cover eventually will strip off which caused me to lose mine on a bump.) For this price you cannot beat the value of this package. This version has much better recording capability than the wifi model so make sure if you settle on this brand to go with this version and get a super fast microSD.

I have been using that camera on my trips on ATV in offroad condition and it works great. In my case, only paid $100 bucks for it on black friday.
