I bought this for my father who is having trouble when watching tv and movies hearing what the characters say. After looking at a lot of different sound bars I settled on the poll because of the seperate channel for voice. Setup couldn't have been easier, I plugged it in and it immediately found the wireless sub setup 20 ft away. The sound is excellent and will get quite loud, multiple internal speakers give a very immersive sound, even with explosions voices are clear. Overal I would highly recommend this sound bar to anyone hard of hearing or not.

The sound is great. We have had problems with it not matching up to the wall mount and not working with a Panasonic TV when a fiber cable was connected between them. No sound then. The Geek squad ran everything through the Blue Ray to get sound. Considered getting something else. The Polk doesn't always power up after the electricity is off. Sometimes need to reboot the system. Nothing but sound is affected. The sound is very good, but make sure it does work with the system you buy. The Geek squad has never found out why it sometimes gives a problem.

I am hard of hearing and the voice portion of this soundbar helps me hear the programs on tv. I am having some trouble with the sound going in and out on some programs. I have contacted the mfg and they are working with me on the problem.

My husband is very satisfied with the sound bar. We replaced a home theater system that died. Although it is very good and takes up so much less space than the home theater system, it's not quite as good. I still would recommend this product especially if you never had a home theater system.

I like this unit. I wish it had more inputs (e.g. optical) but for my bedroom it works as I'd hoped. I especially like that I can raise the voice level without the base or sound effects, making it easier to hear the late shows while the rest of the house is quiet.

Easy to hook up. Typical Polk excellent sound quality. It is especially helpful to be able to emphasize voices.

Good sound, affordable. We have no complaints. It is great for our Samsung TV

Was looking to get something to improve the sound on my TV from those garbage little built in speakers and also for some type of sound system for my music without having to have a ton of equipment around while not disturbing the neighbors and this fit the bill perfectly. Great sound for both TV and for my music, no clutter, easy setup. What more could you want?

If you are looking to upgrade the sound on those crumby speakers that come on your flat screen and not spend a fortune in doing so, then this unit is not a bad choice.

What I really like about this product is the great sound & you can control the voice. I would of give it 5 stars if it was Bluetooth compatible. As it is only wifi compatible.

I was ready to buy a competitor's product, when I heard the Polk Audio OM1 Soundboard and Subwoofer and I was blown away by the sound quality and rich features. The separate voice volume adjustment makes this system far superior than other pricier systems. Check out Polk Audios selection of soundboards and you will be impressed.

great sound and very slim profile. super easy connectivity. the sub also delivers good low end. i would give it a 5 star rating if it the price was slightly cheaper.

Good sound, but iPhone App needs some work. Still unable to use wireless accessory speakers as surround sound set up

Awesome sound quality. Occasional minor screw ups for the sound bar to sync up with the woofer wirelessly. Apart from that, it has been a very good experience.

Setup was a little longer than expected. Had to call Polk support since my wifi will not recognize. Tech walked me through with my router model and stayed with me until the unit was recognized and started playing. Sound coming out is awesome for a soundbar. The center channel for the dialogue is great and I can hear every word when watchin a movie. As for playing Pandora, the sound is great and a lot of bass!!! Can't wait To buy the satellite speaker to place one in the dining room and living room, wirelessly!!!

Easy set up ad pleased with the sound quality for the price. cheap looking Remote didn't work and hoping it is the battery....

Replaced very high end, very large speakers. I won't say the sound is exactly the same, but the difference is not as remarkable as you might think. I am very happy with my decision to move to the Polk sound bar.

was looking for a sound bar to enhance new suhd smart tv. especially concerned about conversational clarity , like for BBC british accents, not to mention for music. this system is top rated, fills the bill, and was half off for cyber monday @ best buy. such a deal.

Hi I had ordered twice. Best Buy sent me Broken Polk audio system. On thanks given i ordered one, they gave me a broken one. to replace that i order one more they gave me again a broken one. And to complain about it there is no manger at south Brunswick location. The response is very bad. I ma being 5 year regular customer buying Tvs, Games, Audio system, laptops. but now i lost faith in them

We bought the system as a more affordable high quality wireless home system. Sounds great but lacks the earth shaking sound i was looking for. The additional wirless speakser you can add do not work for watching movies and tv. Pairing the devices should be more user friendly and i can only listen to music from smart devices or bad radio. I would like to link my laptop with it
