Because of my hearing deficit, music and bass frequently over power dialog - especially soft voices or whispers. With separate treble and bass controls I can adjust the sound to meet my needs.

In addituon to the quality, the ability to add additional speakers wirelessly throughout my house, regardless of brand, is what sold me on this sound bar.

Needed a sound bar that had clear voice so I could hear dialog on TV programs. Works as specified plus it is expandable to add addiitional speakers in other rooms.

This bar has great sound and the subwoofer adds a lot of depth. It does have the ability to play music through you phone through apps like Pandora. I do wish it was just straight up Bluetooth, but the ability to add speakers to this bar wirelessly is amazing. Whole home sound is great for entertaining.

the only thing I didn't known was you can not use rear speakers with the tv with this sound bar I would have brought a different system

This has great sound and features but doesn't even get as loud as my tv. Way underpowered.

For the money this is a solid sound bar. Yes, there are better ones out there but if you are in this price range I would recommend it.

The quality of the sound definitely improves the overall television sound without having to deal with running a lot of wires all around the room. Not for high end listeners or those that want surround, but good for music and the basics, especially in a smaller room.

Husband bought me this for Christmas because I'm always complaining I can't hear the dialogue I movies. As much as actors get paid you'd think they could afford some diction classes and learn to annunciate. This sound systems certainly helps, but can't fix mumble-mouths.

This Polk Omni soundbar is incredible. I have been a Polk fan for many years and was looking to replace my wired surround system with something more sleek. This systems gets the job done with flying colors. The sound quality and deep rich bass is incredible. It does a good job at creating a virtual surround sound. The bonus of the DTS Play-fi is great, I have built a whole home system all wirelessly, the set up and app work great very easy to use on a IPad. Overall Polk hit it out of the park as usual, if you want the best sound this is the only option,.

A BB associate talked me into this sound bar. Another sales person recommended another brand. I regret not buying the first one. The Polk was more expensive. Not impressed W/this product. I may ask for a refund & then purchase another sound bar. Others who have watched TV w/me find the sound annoying.

This system is great, it delivers sound throughout my my entire house even though the system is is my bedroom. It's also great that you can add new speakers throughout the house and even outside that work off the wireless network
