Awesome bookshelf speakers..Fit perfect on my large desk, sitting in between them I can't tell where the sound is coming from. I'm surrounded with clarity and great bass and highs.

The Polk Signature line seems to just fall just below the point where the law of diminishing returns kicks in, meaning that you get the best value for your money. Polk's LSiM line (and other top-of-line products from other companies) might have slightly smoother response, but at three or more times the price are not likely to give enough improvement for a vast majority of consumers to justify the cost. On the other hand, the performance over the entry-level T series is obvious. Matched with a good subwoofer, the S15s are all that most people are ever going to need. Highly recommended.

I bought these to be my front speakers in my 5.1 setup. Even at low volume, the speakers sound amazing! Easy to connect and hookup to my wall mounts and the black walnut looks reallyy nice.

The clarity and smoothness of these speakers are like butter. I have the S15s in front and S10s in the rear and sides. I hear sounds I’ve never heard before and it adds to the intensity of the movie soundtracks. Rest upgrade from my old Infinity SAT750 setup. I was originally set on the Klipsch until I heard these. Buy them!!

These speakers sound great. They handle highs and mids really well, with surprising bass response for their size. I have them in a non-ideal location due to the small size of our living room and they sound fantastic.

They get the job done and sound great for the price. They look fine, they've got plenty of bottom end. Don't need a ton of power to get loud.

These speakers sound phenomenal. I am using 2 for rear surrounds and 2 for front height speakers. They are more than what I needed. Great clarity. I hear things in movies I hadn’t heard before. I am using a Polk s35 for center channel and 2 s55’s for main fronts. All on an onkyo nr656. Love this setup.

I'm not a crazy audiophile, however I can 'clearly' hear these speakers are the best I have ever owned. Heck the fact that they also look amazing with the front off makes me proud to display them. I'm normally a Bose guy and know they have a lot of hatters and fan boys, but for a lot less then what I would have paid for Bose, these seem to sound better in my opinion to what I was about to get.

After years of not having a stereo system I decided to bring my receivers out of hibernation and get some music in my home again. I don’t recall how I heard about the Polks, initially but there was a special going on. I was originally looking at the T-15‘s but then noticed that the S 15‘s were reviewed much better and they were also on sale. I grabbed a pair at Best Buy and took them home to set my stereo up. I love how refined they sound. Not over-the-top in any particular range but balanced. We live in an age where people are bass-crazy and I can’t stand it. They usually have the bass cranked up so loud that it totally obliterates the music. These speakers are some of the most comfortable to listen to, especially when playing some of my old albums. The best way I can describe it is that they don’t fatigue me by being too extreme. Excellent for listening to opera or classical music too. I would highly recommend these speakers to someone looking for a quality listening experience.

This is my second set of Polk Audio speakers. The first set (2 towers, 2 surround, center and subwoofer) where purchased at least 15 years ago and still sound good. I have donated them to a friend. I purchased the complete Signature Series (S35, S15, S55) to replace the donated set. The look, the price and the sound make these an amazing set of speakers. My previous set sounded fine until I installed these. This set is the sound center for my home entertainment system. The center speaker brings the dialogue into the room. When listening to music, especially jazz or classical, I can close my eyes and feel that I am at a live performance. Play some Rock and you can make the whole house vibrated (without turning it up to its highest setting). Pink Floyd never sounded so good. A Denon receiver drives the speakers and after calibration created an excellent sound field that makes almost any seat an ideal listening position. I used 12 gauge (oxygen free) wire and installed banana clips on the ends for each installation and conduction. This was an excellent purchase that has taken my home theater entertainment system to the next level.

I picked up an open box pair of these for my rear surrounds in a 5.2.4 setup. the sound is clear, clean, with good bass. Plenty of volume as well. The rear port has the sound directed to the sides so they can be mounted on the wall. However, you better be darn sure you have a solid mount. These are not light, and will come out a ways from the wall. In the store I compared these to the ony Core 5 and the Klipsch R15M. to my 64-year old ears, the Polks sounded cleaner and more accurate. Very happy with my purchase.

I bought these on the spur of the moment due to the 1/2 price deal a couple months back. Buzzed by the store and got the curb delivery, Neat! Took them home and first auditioned them as front L/R speakers before putting them up to replace T15's that had been doing duty as front heights. As a stereo pair or 2.1 setup they sounded decent enough to my old ears with no glaring faults. However, they do lack the detail and transparency of speakers costing a few dollars more. If you are budget limited they are worth a try and BB has a great return policy.

Best surround sound system I have ever owned. Well worth the money. I would bet my neighbors hate me now because they can also hear the movie we're watching.
