A bit large to still be considered "bookshelf" in my opinion. Yet, I prefer the size to get a bit more oompf from the speaker when you just want to feel the movies/music and not just hear it. Given the price paid and the sound it gives. Very happy and highly recommend. Whether on sale or not, these should fit all but the smallest budgets.

They have a surprising range for such a small speaker. Could probably use them for all of your speakers as long as you have a subwoofer.
