Many also appreciate the headset's price and microphone functionality, citing positive experiences with its fit and lightweight design. A few customers also mentioned that the ear cup size could be improved for better comfort.

Sound quality is great, the short microphone gives it a clean look & people could hear you clearly during game play.

Got these while they were on sale. For the sale price, they are good, but they are not worth the full price of $89. They are well constructed, are very comfortable, and feel like quality set of earphones. Sound quality is decent. Everything sounds clear, but the max volume does have a limit. They don't get as loud as the Turtle Beach headsets do. The microphone works great though, and the mic monitoring feature is excellent. I used these with my phone to test out how clear I sounded, and the person on the other line couldn't even tell that I was using a headset. I did a ton of research and compared various different headsets. In terms of value and what you get, these are probably better than the official Xbox headsets and the Turtle Beach XO Ones, especially if these are on sale again for the same price as those other headsets. However, at full price, I would probably go with Turtle Beach's Xo Fours or Sevens, depending on how much you're willing to spend.

Got these for my 9y old for Christmas. He likes these a lot and the sound is good for chats while gaming, and for listening to music and videos on his iPad or mobile phone. They fit well for his smaller head. Gave 4 stars as the sound doesn't have the deepest bass, but then it's for chatting while gaming too so it works. The bass isn't terrible but works for both uses

The headset sounds great, another reviewer thought the microphone could be extend more toward the mouth, I do tend to agree with them, it works okay, but could be better. The fact the boom mic hides is a cool touch. A little disappointed with the lack of wireless ability, the Polk website and packaging say it's wireless capable, but a call to tech support proved they don't.(weird). They fit nicely and are comfortable to wear for long periods.

I'm a casual gamer who often has to tiptoe around my newborn in the same room. These help me enjoy my games without worrying about startling my baby son. Comfortable fit, mic works fine without being extended. No issues or conflicts with the headset connection. Nice, immersive sound. Great value for the money.

great fit and great sound, but if you are using a special edition controller like the halo and cod you need the xbox adapter because the adapter that comes with it sometimes don't work

The headphones sound great & are more comfortable than most I've used before - I've used several in pro music production. My only insight for shoppers is the fact that you can't hear yourself speaking through the MIC. The headphones dampen external sound so w/out a direct MIC monitor for the ear pieces its difficult to know how you sound. Press your hands to your ears and talk - thats pretty close to replicating how these sound when you talk.

I got these headphones on sale for $45, and I gotta say it was a steal. The sound is excellent, and they're very comfortable. The con: They're primarily made out of plastic and honestly they feel a little cheap. Because of the feel of the plastic construction I would list these headphones at about $60, so I think the retail value is a little high. But if you're only really concerned with comfort and sound quality then you can't beat these Polk headphones at the same price. And if you're lucky like me you can get them on sale!

Very good headset i love the real leather in on the headset. The only negative i can say is that i wish it can be louder. I was playing star wars battlefront and cranked up all the volume and i can still hear outside of my headset. My turtlebeachs sound louder and i feel like the quality in this headset is better than turtlebeach. But other than that everything else is good. i like that it comes with the chad adapter

These are very light and comfortable (for my average sized head) with good options. The mic monitor is a great feature, so you can speak without yelling. Can be turned off if preferred. Sound is a little lacking in terms of dimension. Not surround, just stereo. Tough to place exact direction sound is coming from in a shooter. There is some good depth to it, good clarity for mids and highs, but bass isn't going to rattle your ear drums. Overall happy with purchase do to fact I got them on sale for 49.99.

While I have the Turtle Beach Elite 800s for my PS4 I decided to get a set for my Xbone. Being I didnt want to spend near $300 again I was looking for a bargain. Fortunately this set also comes with the chat adapter as well . The only negative I have found is that they dont handle all bass well. Overall though they fit comfortably and the chat audio from the mic is good.

Great headset, especially for the price. Sound is top notch, build is nice and sturdy. My only semi-complaint is the legth of the pull out mic. I wish it was about another inch longer, since it stops mid cheek for me. Makes me sound a little far when speaking to my party, simple fix that I do is rest the left ear cup a little on my ear (instead of over my ear) so that the mic sits a little bit closer, and it works fine. Very comfortable too.

I bought these to replace a set of on ear headphones I've been using because the pads weren't so comfortable. These polks are over the ear and much softer/comfortable. Sound is excellent and mic is clear. I'm very happy w the purchase. Only issue is I wish the cups for the ears were just a little deeper because my ears touch the inside which only bothers me after long periods of time. Still much more comfortable than my old headset

A friend of mine told me to pick these up when I mentioned wanting to get a gaming headset without breaking the bank to do it. I wasn't sure if I was going to like them initially when I was messing with the controls, but after getting the volume balanced between the chat and game audio I found that they were fantastic and more than I thought I would get for the price I paid. They have chat loop which is a plus I hadn't expected they are also incredibly comfortable I used them for hours the other night and forgot I even had them on. One thing to keep in mind, I did have some issues initially when I had them on with game audio becoming staticky. That was an easy fix of simply updating the controller and the problem completely went away.

I bought these headsets when they were on sale for a great price. I really like that they are comfortable, sound great, and I like the feature where I can hear my own voice in the headset. It really helps me know if I'm talking too loudly. They also look good and with the Polk Audio name I hope they last.

After owning 4 sets of Turtle Beach headsets over the years, I decided to give these a go. They are wireless (although still connected to the controller) but do not require batteries. Just plug them into your headset and you are ready to go. Very good sound quality which is accentuated by the external noise cancelling of the earpieces and are comfortable to wear.

I was pleasantly surprised at how well my husband reports on the sound and ability to talk to others during play. We previously had the more expensive brand, but were disappointed with sound and talk capabilities despite ensuring that the set-up was appropriate. I took a chance because of the Polk name & decreased cost. It all paid off. My husband's only complaint, the volume is limited. So, if you don't want deaf children, this is your go-to.

For a game headset that isn't truly wirleless and is a lower tier, non surround sound headset, this product is amazing. As one should suspect when done by a audio-dedicated company like Polk. For the price, the sound was phenomenal. And actually much better sound quality than my Turtle Beaches for that matter! Ultimately I exchanged them for TBs because it wasn't truly wireless and the cords just bugged me for whatever reason. I'd have given this 5 stars if it was wireless otherwise a very underrated game headset! If the cord leading to the controller adapter doesn't bug you then I highly recommend this!

I bought this with my Gamer's Club discount, so it was a no-brainer. The adapter that plugs into the controller has more functions that the standard headset that comes with the XBox one. You can mute, and raise/lower the volume for both chat and game. The sound isnt bad for a pair of headphones that were >$50, and when I'm not on my Xbox1, I can just disconnect the headphones from the adapter, and then plug them into any 3.5mm aux. Great buy, low price, and actually quite comfortable. Hope this helps those on the fence about this headset!
