Just buy it! Wow. I was shocked to hear the sound out of these little bookshelf speakers. I have it connected with a Matantz receiver for my surround & it rocks. I have Klipsch, Martin Logan, B&W & several other brands but PolkT15 sounds much better to my ear. You may not like it but I’m just sharing my experience. I also used it with a 2ch receiver & I kid u not you will be shocked how much bass it can produce. Kudos to Polk audio for the T15’s....

I have purchased 3 pair of the Polk Audio T15 bookshelf speakers for my multi-room audio system. They perform well with moderate amplifier power requirements of 30 watts RMS or more per channel. The T15 speakers far exceed any other ones in this price range.

Used as seperate channel speakers or as part of a total system, these speakers are efficent with good quality sound that covers a large range from some bass, great mid-range and decent high end.

Wonderful surround sound speaker for the price if you don't mind a bit bigger speaker. Sound is much richer and better than smaller speakers in this price range. Perfect budget surround speakers for a 7.1 Atmos set up!!!

Researched speakers for quality, size and price and found that the Polk Audio speakers fit the bill! Sound quality is above average and well balanced considering the size & price of these speakers.

The Polk book shelf speakers are the very best for the money you can purchase. The sound is awesome and awesome. They are clear and I feel emerged when watching movies or listening to music. They actually have ports in the front of them. I'm so impressed! Good luck finding a better value speaker for the money. They are the best you can buy for the money and Polk is truly a great product!

I bought the pair at a great price of $50, and am using them as part of my 5.1 home theater system. I used the surround experience feature in the Sunshine bluray as a test. It allows you to play certain clip through any specified channel. The sound quality is good, but certainly not as full as my Pioneer front LR and center. Not a deal breaker though.

We had given our surround system to one of our sons and needed something for CDs and etc. Something that wasn't bluetooth and would work with my amp. i was pleasantly surprised at the sound these speakers produced.

I bought one pair for my surround sound and was so impressed I bought a second set. The sound is much better than the smaller speakers that came with the original surround sound system. Good value, the price was right and I would buy again. Installation was easy as they hang flush off of a screw in the wall and the wire hookup was easy so you can easily connect + and - terminals.

I purchased this set for 50% off (excellent BB pricing) and intended to replace an 1980's set of book shelf speakers (Design Acoustics DA-10's) being used in our bedroom with an older Yamaha receiver connected to our HDTV. Well, the Polks were not as efficient and also sounded like there was a blanket over the drivers. Had to crank up the treble just to balance them. A week later I tried them in my family room in a somewhat similar setup (35-watt home-brew SS stereo amp) primarily used with an HDTV. In this room I am using another 1980's set of speakers (Realistic Nova-10's). No comparison, the vintage Realistic's left the Polk's standing in the dust. These Polk's sounded lackluster, undefined, and did not meet my listening requirements for book shelf speakers. Tried them in both settings for about a week in each location thinking I would bond with them in one of these locations. Played them with CD's, Cable TV, DVD's, iPod, recorded concerts, etc. But I ended packing up the Polk's and returned them on the 15th day. At best, these are entry level "fair" sounding bookshelf speakers. I am thinking I should have purchased the Sony Core SSCS5 bookshelf speakers that were also 50% off. But with all of the glowing reviews for the Polk T15's, I thought the newer technology would be an "upgrade" to my outdated 1980's speakers. These T15's could not even keep up with technology from the past. If you have nothing to compare they with (A - B'ing with another set), then I could understand why others might think these would be OK. Currently the overall 4.7 rating just makes no sense to me, other than using these for rear channel surround sound duty. For your primary front channel stereo listening, look elsewhere, these are just "fair" at best to my ears.

I am really impressed with these speakers. When I purchased them and was walking out the door I was met by a guy walking in and when he saw I had purchased them he said they were awesome and he had purchased four of them! I recommend!

Polk Audio always look and sound like much larger more expensive speakers. Their clarity and imaging immerse you in sound. I heard the same music for the first time again...

I bought the bookshelf speakers because I have the center channel and the sub woofer. I wanted the system to match. So far the sound is very good. I have a Sony 7.1 surround receiver. Must say, I'm impressed. I love Polk products for their sound and price. Recommended if you are building a budget home theater.
