    I first purchased a pair of these speakers to use as front channels to upgrade from a basic boxed surround sound package. The improvement was outstanding for my small room, so I upgraded the rear channels to these as well. The set sounds great and the power is adequate for a small to mid-size room.

    Bought them for my son who is in college. He loves them. They sound better than speakers that cost three/four times more! His flat mates are impressed by their sound quality and price!

    Rating is for value. They are solid speakers for the money, especially on sale. I have them in my office for music while I work and they are excellent for that purpose. Would need a sub for movies.

    Well worth the $70 I paid for the pair. They get good bass for their size but would recommend a sub woofer for deep tones. Female vocals seem a little harsh with these speakers so I find myself backing down on the treble control on my amp to compensate. I drive them with a 60 watt/ channel amp. I have them in a small room and they produce plenty of volume.
