I bought these to replace a pair of rear speakers I was using for about 15 years. The new Polk T-15 made my surround system sound new again. These speakers are rated for 100 Watts at 8 Ohms which is what all my other speakers are. I made sure when I first tested them I had the wires labeled for positive and negative to prevent being out of phase. I am totally pleased and would recommend these speakers to anyone.

We had heard a lot about Polk Audio through the years and decided to purchase a set and they are awesome. Sound is good for such a small size speaker. Fits the bill for what i needed them for, and they take up limited space. The Polk speakers are substantially smaller than the ones they replaced, but the bass is much deeper and honest. In fact, range on both ends is much extended and these really fill the room when I crank up the volume. I would buy them again.

I like the Polk book bookshelf speakers. For the money they might be the best deal. I was comparing them to the Klipsh bookshelf speakers. They’re not quite as bright, but the highs are very accurate and they have a good solid mid-tone. For their size bass is not bad at all.

Excellent product & great value for the money. Ordered in best buy online for Black Friday, got them for $50, that was a nice deal though. Good fit for smaller rooms, pairs well with Yamaha R-S201.

These speakers have a nice full sound in a very compact size. They would make a perfect compliment to a subwoofer to handle the heavy bass. They take up very little space and sound nice and crisp.

Bought a pair last year on sale for the small stereo in my living room. Loved the sound so I waited for the sale again this year to add them as rear speakers to my system. I have a small townhouse and these add great sound to my system. Great bass reflex and mids. Clear highs so I can't complain one bit. With the 2 matched pair I am in heaven. Added the audioengine speaker stands and perfect sound even on the carpeted floor. A great Polk Audio product worth the price

Bought these Polk 51/4 inch speakers to replace the small surround sound front Polk speakers that came in a set we are using in our family room. They still fit on our bookshelf and provide a much richer sound especially for music and movies as well as complement the remaining speakers and subwoofer to enhance the surround sound effect. Got a great deal - 40 % off the regular $100 dollar price. Not sleak in appearance as they are black box like in shape but sound is great.

These speakers really rock for their price point. I got mine when they were discounted even lower down. After a few playthroughs, I heard the sound start to open a little more. I use these on my 1990s Sony Stereo system. Set up was obviously super easy, both speakers came in one box, they are a great size, and they are not heavy!

The Polk speakers are clear and have decent bass and highs, they sound great (good quality). They have good highs, mid range and bass separation.
I would buy another set if I needed them.

Used as HT Surrounds

I bought two sets to use for front and back surrounds, which are paired up to a Polk Monitor CS1 II that is used for the center channel . This makes a great combination for a 5.1 HT system. These speakers were purchased on sale at half the price. Even at regular price, these entry level speakers will perform great and they are a great value. The entire unit is the same color, Black. A monolithic look blends better than two tone. Impressive sound from a small front ported enclosure. The enclosure is solid and built from wood which helps produce a warmer sound. There are no vibration/resonance because of the enclosure materials or construction. The front grill is removable and there is a 5 way binding post for terminations. There is a key hole in the back of the enclosure for wall mounting. But, the terminal plate sticks out farther than the back of the speaker. The problem comes when the unit is mounted to the wall and that plate comes in contact with the wall. Simple fix: Add rubber feet to all 4 corners of the back of each enclosure to help eliminate any vibration caused from the hard plastic terminal plate coming into contact with the wall. 8 very thin rubber feet come with the speakers for use on the bottom when placed on a flat horizontal surface such as a bookshelf or table top. These are too thin for use on the back. My receiver is pumping out approximately 120 watts per ch in a 5.1 system and the speakers are set to speaker small. Because of this, the crossover point is set higher and more of the lows are sent to the sub. This produces less distortions in the surrounds at higher volumes. With this configuration, the sound can play very clean at high volumes. GREAT for movies and listening to music.

My father in law has been bugging me on why my system always sounds so good. I finally convinced him to upgrade. While doing research for him I came across polk audio sale on center and book shelves. Reached out to a buddy of mine who knows my father in laws set up along with discussing with my BB guy and decided these would be perfect for him at this ridiculously low price. Bought them without asking him figured I would set them up in my second tv room worst case for the price. Hooked them up with new receiver and he loves them. Now I wish I had purchased another set for that second tv room myself.

The Polk Audio T15 Bookcase speakers are outstanding for the price. I listen to mostly classical, folk, and folk rock and the instrument sound quality and vocals are true.
I'm not recommending them for surround sound, look elsewhere, but for listening to records and radio, they are more than adequate. Yes, when watching a streaming show or movie, they leave something to be desired, but that wasn't my main purpose for buying them.
If your uses match mine, get these speakers.

I purchased these speakers to listen to music in my pool room on a 7/2 Yamaha rx-a820 they are for listening to music in my pool room and I have to admit they sound great they are my surround speakers and I have my amp set for 7 Chanel stereo and for music they are exelent I didn't want a big speaker system as l mounted my speakers to my wallls to hear music at a moderate volume while playing pool and they fill my 16ft x 20 ft room impressively the sound out of these speakers far outdid my expectations for a 70 dollar pair of speakers
