As a studio recordist and engineer I was very surprised by the quality and sound of these speakers. They replace JBL loft 40 pair that was so dull I had to get rid of them. These speakers brought the studio to life. They are not my main monitors but an extra pair to compare my mixes. They match up with my Yamaha NS 10 m speakers which are Pro Studio Standard monitors. I say get them. I got them on sale at an great price this week and hooked them up and played some of my vinyls first and was totally pleasantly pleased with them..

I purchased these to complete my home theater system and I am not disappointed. The sound is clear and crisp. These have a good range and are a perfect asset to my system. If you want speakers that work well and that are not too expensive, these are great. The only thing I would say is a con is that they are a decent size. I like speakers that are more small and compact, but if you're hanging these up or putting them on top of a bookshelf, it's not a problem.

Wonderful full sound from these very reasonably priced speakers. Fit very nice on entertainment center shelf.

I chose these for a moderately sized room where I exercise and spend time with my granddaughter. We enjoy background music from old vinyl albums. The speakers are ideal in terms of size and sound quality. As a bonus, they were sale priced!

My old Sony Speakers died and I was afraid i wouldn"t be able to get new speakers for my old standard stero receiver and CD player...everything now is wireless and digital, but I found these and frankly, wasn"t expecting much for the price. I was very pleasantly suprised! Love them....great sound for the price and every bit as good as the previous Sony speakers I had which I paid over 100 bucks for 10 years ago. Definitely recommend with no reservations.

Needed speakers for a great room and these just fit the bill. They are small enough to fit the space but still have good sound quality.

Good price and nice speakers for the money. Shipping was fast and free, I used them for my surround sound system as rear speakers and they sounded great.

Having been familiar with Polk speakers, i decided to listen to these in the store. I am using these mainly for rear surround speakers and am very happy with them. I was using some very nice JBL speakers but they were very small and gave me a small sound. Moving to the larger Polk really opened up the movie theater sound.

For the price, these speakers are much better than I imagined they'd be. I'm a bit of a snob about sound, but couldn't afford to be overly picky when replacing my old ones. I feel satisfied with these little but powerful speakers.

These speakers were placed in the basement for my son's stereo. His xbox is also connected to it. For their size and low price, they can't be beat!

the pair of polk bookshelf speakers has added some great sound to my already great system, made for an easy and quick install

I use these as rear speakers in my apartment on a shelf. I have a $300 receiver and these are perfect for my set up. They are the perfect size for shelves and sound amazing for how much they cost. They are by far the best value in the range and easy to set up.

These are my home office speakers for listening to records as I work. Sound amazing to be so small. Obviously not audiophile but that's not what they are for. You will be very pleased.

Basic, reliable bookshelf speakers. I bought them store-used and they look and sound brand new. Nice, cheap way to pad out your 5.1 system

Third pair I own. These are mighty speakers for a minimal cost. You dont need 500 dollar speakers. These are awesome for less than 100!

I use these as my rear surround speaker and they are great. I think they would work well for front channels but I'm happy with my existing ones. They port bass out the front which is important for surround speakers and have a mounting hole pre-cut. I'm happy with them and they are a huge upgrade from the little ones I had before.

These replaced a much (much) larger pair of Jensen speakers and I have detected no decrease in the sound quality. I get the added benefit of having a pair of speakers that fit the room much better than my previous monsters. Installation was a breeze and the price made these an excellent value.

I bought these on sale after i purchased a sherwood receiver, I originally purchased them because I was worried about the ohms impendence rating for the rear(surround) from the sherwood to walmart bought rca package speakers..they are rated 4ohms and the sherwood puts out 8 or6 to the back, but after reading about it... i just put these as the front. They go hard. love them and then had to upgrade from the rca center... and bought a new powered sub.... for a 9x11 room, i have like way too much speaker, but i love it.

After reading reviews, we purchased this set of speakers. Not micro nor table height, just the right size to place on a shelf or mount on the wall as we did. Sound is great and perfect for what we need outside. We would recommend these speakers. Easy to mount with key hole on back and are unobtrusive. Great sound for the price!

These speakers sound fantastic for the price, and in general. Really great highs and pretty decent mids and lows (for bookshelf speakers). Easy to hookup and they also look very nice with the dark woodgrain design. Would recommend these to anyone wanting affordable, quality bookshelf speakers for their sound system.
