Obviously you don't get deep base due to the size, but the sound is accurate, defined, and smooth. It would be really hard to beat them at the sale price. In this case, "you get, more than, what you pay for".

The perfect speakers for those of us who still have stereo component systems that are working well but we need to replace our giant speakers with smaller, more efficient ones.

I use these as surround speakers in a 5.1 home theater setup. They provide good sound across a wide range of frequencies (bass to high treble). While not in the same league as some higher end home theaters I have experienced, for the price (I paid $49 for a pair) they do a great job. A nice bonus are the angled wiring posts with a hole to accommodate banana plugs easily.

Got these to replace some old surround speakers. My current room set up allows for a larger speaker in the surround positions. These definitely add to the 5.2.2 with Atmos and DTS X. They add the immersive quality I was looking for.

These speakers are great for the price range. I listen to CDs and Records in my home office and I couldn't be happier with these. These are not high end speakers but I don't think I've heard anything this good int he price range

Bought these on sale to replace my aging RCA speakers. Might have given 5 stars but I can't hear the highs much any more (just ask my wife) so impossible for me to judge that aspect. It's a waste of money for me to pay extra for a better high end. These have a nice punch, handle the power good without distortion and the black color matches the rest of the system I bought.

I bought these speakers after reading earlier reviews and, in part, because of my familiarity with the Polk brand. The speakers seem very solidly built, and they sound great. Particularly given their modest price, these speakers are a great purchase.

I purchased these speakers to compliment a flat panel tv in a small office space. They really enhance the sound of the TV and are seem great for a small space. I wish they had a little more punch of bass but overall very clear for dialog and sounds from shows, movies and sports. It helps that I picked them up on sale.

Thier cheap but dont sound or look cheap i have four for my 7.2.2 surround as my l/r surround and my atmos highs and they sing and have plenty of effect for the money your spending

Bought these speakers on a whim due to the price. Pleasantly surprised with the build quality and overall sound. Will they blow your socks off? No. But you do get what you pay for, plus a bit more. Soild value, and it doesn't hurt that they look like much more expensive speakers than they are. Overall 4/5. Only con for me is that they're a bit too bassy for my liking.

Got back into the home theater world. And absolutely love these speakers

I was amazed by the great quality sound . The SOUND Works ideal for living in the apartment, due to the decibel range you don't have to worry about noise ordinances.

This is my 2nd time with Polk speakers. They have great sound. I have Sony too. They work great in the room and I support Best Buy. Feel very strong about keeping them in business. Great store.

Using these speakers in combination with the Polk PSW110 10" Sub, which replaced an older MK speaker/subwoofer combo. The sound quality is excellent and is driven from my (now vintage) NAD Preamp (1600) and Amp (2400). I am running the Sub out through an EQ with built in cross-over.

These speakers give off a nice sound with decent bass tones for the normal listener.

Got these for Christmas , a bit bigger than expected, but they seem to be a good speaker

Polk Audio is legendary and these bookshelf speakers deliver excellent sound (high, mid range and bass) for their size in a small to medium size room. The sound is clean and impressive for speakers of this size. Great purchase, especially at the sale price.
