    I have had four sets of Polk speakers for at least 15 plus years now.. Still have them and still enjoy them. They perform well and are as good as if not better than any speakers out there other than the Bose line. I would recommend "Polk" if you don't want to over spend on Bose/speakers !!

    Small speaker, but truly professional high-end sound. The quality is excellent, both in the sound and the solid wood case. It has curved sides which look beautiful and help the sound. It's not a cube, so one has to find it just the right spot in the bookcase. But it's pleasing to the eye. I'm very happy with the purchase and recommend it to all serious audiophiles.

    WOW. That is one word to describe these speakers. In two words: silky smooth. Midrange / vocals are super smooth, the ever important high-freq. range is sweet, dynamic, not edgy. Bass is accurate, not overcooked, just the way I like it. What's not to like... for the price? A steal. I tried the new Sony bookshelf (& returned) prior to these Polk speakers.. they were the Sony SSCS5 --- IMHO, the Polks are far better. The Sony's were not bad - just did not have any WOW factor - these Polks do. Buy them - you won't regret it.
