    If you liked minecraft and dragon quest builders this will be worth your time. This game has beautiful graphics and great co-op. This is more like dragon quest builders with class based gameplay and a more action oriented instead of town building..

    Bought this for my Nephew for Christmas and really was a good game for a while. You can collect things, build castles, and even play split-screen co-op, but unfortunately, it was very easy to beat, and even with multiple DLC's and even a creative mode he got bored quickly.

    If You or your child likes Minecraft Style games, then they will Like Portal Knights. Hop to Different Worlds build, explore, fight, make items, etc. Nice Graphics, Not to Hard to play.

    Just started playing the game, but there are definitely similarities to Minecraft. So far the focus seems to be more on combat than just building. I also like the idea of leveling your character up to get more power and abilities.

    Creative game however there's really not much going on during the game. There is no real plot, no specific agenda or missions to follow. If you like free roam and being creative with no specific agenda then you will love the game. I have not played the co-op mode but I could see where that would be more fun vs alone running around aimlessly.
