The Poseidon Adventure is a movie from 1972, with lots of stars, good to see this one still around, and great to see it and better on Blu-ray

Asa big fan of disaster flicks, I regard this movie as one of the best. The transfer looks and sounds great. Interviews with some of the surviving cast members are informative and insightful. Would definitely recommend!

Great quality! Also has a lot of extra content. I got this for my eleven year old who is crazy about the Titanic (not the movie but real one ). Now this is his new favorite.

They just don't make them like this anymore. Great cast and plot, high adventure on the open sea. A tsunami wave capsizes the S.S. Poseidon on New Year's Eve sending a handful of survivors lead by a fiery reverend, (Gene Hackman) to a daring escape. Ernest Borgnine also co-stars. Great stuff!

First I read the book in the 1970s. Then I saw the movie when it war released in the theater. Always have been fascinated about a ship turned upside down and the subsequent search for escape. The sets of everything upside down was interesting to me. A good cast of actors were gathered for this movie. The movie appears a little dated at this point, but still I have always enjoyed the story.

This 70s movie holds up well in 2023. The acting, drama, and action are all top notch, and the blu ray looks great.

I owned this on DVD and the picture quality was not that good. Purchased on blu-ray and the picture quality is so much better. And you can't go wrong with this classic movie from the 70s.

Catastrophe cinema, a first of it's kind back then. Well done, well acted, well worth having in your film library while it's still available and at Best Buy's great pricing.

I happened to find this movie in the Best Buy Bin for under $5. I loved this movie & I never thought I would find a classic blu-ray for so cheap.

THE POSEIDON ADVENTURE was one of the original disaster movies and has a good cast of Gene Hackman, Ernest Borgnine, Red Buttons, Carol Lynley, Shelley Winters, Stella Stevens and the actress who plays the nurse is producer Irwin Allen's wife (and she played the mayor's wife in Irwin's other disaster hit, THE TOWERING INFERNO). Also, look for Leslie Nielsen as the Poseidon's skipper before he became a top comedy star in THE NAKED GUN movies. The blu-ray video is very good and includes a lot of special features including an informative commentary by director Ronald Neame.

I definitely recommend this version of the Poseidon adventure. It's a awesome movie that keeps you on the edge of your seat.

One of my favorite classics. Saw it multiple times and I'm going to keep this favorite in my movie collection!

Like the theme and the main characters of each survivor. The motion and music of this kind of movie are great.
