Great Movie!! I would recommend this movie to anyone. Had a lot of action and it kept you wanting for more. The plot wasn't to over engaging and it wasn't a movie that was so predictable

I'm not a Starz subscriber, which means I've been unable to watch this show. It was coworkers and friends who's word of mouth motivated me to give this series a chance. So I decided to purchase the blu Ray Season 1 of Power. I was impressed by this series. Though a short 8 episode season 1 (Starz probably wanted to make sure it would be a hit before investing too many episodes into a unproven new series) I feel I have been given my monies worth and I'm only 4 episodes into the 8. Now a massive hit for Starz (and well deserved!) I can see myself following this series for years to come as Season 2 is currently airing and Starz already green lit Season 3.

I was dying to watch this show but couldn't afford ShowTime. My hubby opened the case and put the disc in. The disc episodes were pretty short and he was bummed out. He was complaining about getting cheated. The next day I went to the Blue Ray closet and saw the case ontop of the player. Low and Behold, there was another disc in the case with the REST of season1 and 2 discs for season 2. Long story short, make sure you monitor your hubby if you know he overlooks things. Just getting to the rest of the seasons this weekend.

I was late watching Power when it initially aired on STARZ but I heard so much about from a few people. Once the first season was available, I picked up and it became hooked midway through the season one. I binged watch season 2 on demand in enough time for the premiere of season 3 a few weeks back. Many twists, turns, relationships, hustling, and fight scenes in this show and it's been a while since I've a show that's this good. Highly recommended!

A++..This 'New' Series "Power", hands down in my opinion ranks right up there with the 'Godfather' franchise..It's down right captivating..It draws you in seductively with such powerful intensity you can't wait for one episode to end so you can watch the next..& the next..& the next !!!..Hurry..Hurry Season 2 !!!..A Must Buy !!!..A Collectible !!!

I was hooked on Power from the first episode. I waited patiently for Season 1 to become available, which took a long time to come out. When I got to Best Buy, there were no copies of Power on the shelves. The Best Buy rep patiently searched in the system and warehouse to locate a copy for me. Now I can enjoy one of favorite shows.

The first season is amazing, I didn't have STARZ, and wanted to see this show- This DVD didn't disappoint at all. it was worth the money and the extra's, Such great acting with the cast, but Omari Hardwich is the reason to see this show, he is outstanding. Run don't walk to Best Buy and get your copy for your personal collection!!

After the first episode, it was pretty much downhill for me after that. I ended up binge watching the entire season (mad it only had 8 episodes) but it was worth the money. And since bby price matches I still saved a few pennies *cheesing*. If you liked empire and the concept behind it, then you will love Power.

I love both Dvds and I'm very happy that I decided to buy them. I had never seen Power, but heard a lot about it. I'm a huge fan of Empire! After seeing the 1st season dvd on sale, I decided to purchase it. It was phenomenal! I just had to go back and by season 2. Great products and great show!

Empire is a fantastic show & I got this DVD on sale during Black Friday. I could not pass this deal up. If you love shows that have drama, action, adventure, comedy & suspense with interesting characters and plots. This is the show for you. I would definitely recommend buying Empire season 1.

Many comparisons have been made between "Power" and "Empire", but while Empire tends to go more towards camp, Empire is far more gritty and with more twists and turns. In terms of the blu ray, visual quality is excellent and strong audio. I played this on a 7.1 soundbar and the beats were excellent

Purchased this as a gift as I enjoyed the series tremendously. If you like drama - this is an excellent series. Truly adult programming. Would not recommend for children or teenagers. One of the best television series (in my opinion). Enjoy more than Empire.

From executive producer, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, comes a show about a nightclub owner trying to go legit even though the streets keep calling and those closest to him are his greatest enemies. A tired concept but the writers make it work. Set in NYC with great performances from Omari Hardwick, Naturi Naughton, Lela Loren and Joseph Sikora. Fans of urban crime dramas will want to check this show out.

This is the first time ever that I have purchased the series of a television show. This one was well worth the wait. Its for mature audiences only and if you are not a fan of raw talent...take 3 seats back and exit stage left. lol

This is a really good series, that captures your attention from the very beginning. The characters are so real, and engaging! Enjoyed the music too. Cannot wait until Season 3 comes on.

Suggested to me by a friend whom also liked Empire. I was blown away. I got a great deal at Best Buy just before the holiday's. Binge watched this and will go back to watch it again before season two drops. Curtis Jackson has another hit.

This movie series has great action. This movie has an outstanding cast, writers, directors, music, and producers. The whole crew is putting in work worth acknowledging as "spectacular performances and phenomenal directing."

Good series...portrays greed...ruthlessness...trust...distrust....aspiration to rise above the criminal world to become "legit"...but of course there are those who want to keep you in the streets...very entertaining.
