The covers don’t seem to match up to the controllers that came with my Xbox series s system. The tabs are slightly different than the factory covers. The batteries work and fit fine but the covers which help hold the controller on the base don’t fit correctly.

I have been using the rechargeable batteries and the charging base for nearly two years. No issues whatsoever. I never have dead controllers and love that I don’t have to plug any controller in to recharge. It is simple and it works!

Bought this because the packs from my previous kit (of the same manufacturer) were getting old and no longer holding a charge. I was going to just buy new packs, but this whole kit with two batteries AND a new dock cost the exact same as a single pack with nothing but a USB cable. Clearly, that was a no-brainer. So now I have two new battery packs and a second dock, which is great because I also just recently purchased a Series X controller to use as a PC gamepad and needed a second pack anyway, and now I could give my old dock to my roommate so he doesn't need to use the one downstairs. Kit works great and is backwards compatible with their older kits so if you already have a PowerA charger like this, you can interchange the packs and chargers. Includes four total battery doors, two for the Series X style, and two for the older style. They look VERY similar but you'll know if you're using the wrong one because it just won't slide on right. Batteries come partially charged but will need to be docked pretty much immediately. Takes a couple hours to get a full charge. Orange light turns white when charging is done and looks pretty nice, better than the red/green on the old dock. No complaints so far. These packs always eventually fail either due to loss of charging or corrosion on the contacts because of the micro-arcing that happens when you put them on the dock. All contact chargers have this problem. That said, you can usually get at least a year or two out of the packs before they start to show wear and that makes them still cheaper than using AAs. I suppose it might be cheaper to use rechargeable AA cells but then you'd still be missing out on the convenience of being able to dock them. At the end of the day it's all about where your priorities lie.

Bought this to charge my wireless controllers. It came with a few wireless batteries to put into the controllers and they also came with these lids for the back of the controller. It’s so easy to use this rechargeable station. You just sit your controllers on top and push down to charge them. The lights will turn orange when charging and when they’re done the lights will turn white. Easy peasy.

Highly recommend this controller charger. It does a great job of keeping your xbox controller's charged for endless hours of gaming. Very easy to setup and use. I have 2 of the new series x/s controllers charging but it also works for xbox one controllers as well. Get this device and you will never have to worry about batteries again. Great product.

This thing works great. I’d buy it again if needed. There are two sets of battery compartment doors labeled A and B so picking the correct doors based on your controller model is a must. When putting the controllers on the stand, you will need to press down on the raised end of each stand to activate the charger for each controller. If the Orange lights do not come on, you may need to wiggle the controllers around a bit to get the door slot to line up correctly for recharging. It’s very easy to operate. When charging is complete, the lights turn bluish-white. I leave my controllers on the stand with the white lights on but if the lights bother you, just press down and release the raised edge of each stand to take it out of the depressed charging position. Easy peasy.

Loved the additional batteries. Long life. Different battery covers for different gen controllers. Like the fact you can just lay the controller in the dock. Would buy another controller to even put the other side, haha!

Finding a charger for Xbox Series X controllers is hard. This is one of the few that can actually properly charge the new controllers, as well as the last gen ones. There are plenty of other reviews that cover how exactly this charger takes care of both generations of controllers, and I’ll vouch for that. I do have a couple of minor gripes. First, I just don’t like how you have to jam the controller into the charging port to dock it. Seems like a lot of unnecessary wear and tear on the controller and charger in the long run. Second, I’m not wild about the color of the LED. Amber? Gross. Still, this is probably the best charger you’re going to find at the moment for your Xbox series x. Sure beats swapping out AA batteries or connecting to your console.

I bought this charger as a gift for my son. We were tired of having to buy actual batteries for his xbox controllers, which he spends a lot of time using. So when I spotted this item in the store, I was just as excited as he was, as we can always count on Best Buy products. This charger still works well and it makes the whole gaming experience even better because this charger is wireless! No annoying tangled-up cords to deal with. It also was not a bad price either especially when you consider the fact that you wont have to buy any more batteries.

I bought this after strongly considering the Microsoft branded battery pack for the Series (costing $5 more). Yes, it would likely get longer battery life, but this includes two batteries and a drop in dock charger. Considering I generally don't play for over 3-5 hours typically at most in one session, this charger covers my use. Also the fact that it comes with back plates for both older Xbox One controllers as well as the new Series controllers is great. So all things considered, unless you want longer play time, this dock charger is the way to go in my opinion.

It worked good but a month later one side was very hard to charge because the prongs aren’t that strong so they get pushed down and sometimes doesn’t go back up. Love the batteries and cover though.

The most frustrating thing about the Xbox remote is how quickly it eats up regular batteries. If you game alot you go through batteries quickly. Having these rechargable docking stations makes keeping your Xbox remote fully powered a breeze. Drop it on the dock to charge and it will light up orange letting you know its charging. When its done it turns green. It doesnt get any easier and the battery when fully charged will last for days depending on how often you play if forget to dock it.

I have two xbox controllers and this Power A charging station works great. I can charge just one or both controllers at same time. It is very easy to use and hook up. You get four battery compartment covers along with two rechargeable batteries. There are 2 covers for xbox one and two others for current generation console controllers. Lights up at bottom when charging and charges fast. Price is reasonable and quality appears to be well made--and it is approved by Microsoft.
