I have used this controller only once
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve only used it once and want I wanted to use it again after a month. The left stick automatically pulls the character back in botw. I check to see if I can return but sadly it’s past the return date even tho I didn’t get to use it. Wouldn’t buy another one again.

Good alternative to Pro controller
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When comparing this to the official Nintendo Pro controller this is a good alternative. Pros: 1. Price compared to Official Pro controller 2. The +, -, Home and Screen shot buttons are raised not flush like Pro controller. 3. D pad feels stiffer no accidental directional button presses. 4. 2 remappable buttons on bottom. Cons: 1. Cheap feel to the plastic 2, Requires 2x AA batteries (included), no recharge port. 3. No rumble. 4. No NFC, cannot read Amiibo's The remappable buttons are quite nice to have and is something I feel the official Nintendo Pro controller needs to really be called a Pro controller. Playing a game like Trials of Mana normally to dash you click the left stick, with this controller simply remap it to the extra button and it's easier to dash and control your characters direction. In an FPS game you could remap the extra buttons to reload or use a health pack, or both. Programming is very simple press and hold the middle button on the bottom until the white light on top blinks, press the button you want to remap (B, A, Y, X, L, R, etc.) press one of the 2 buttons on the bottom and your done. I would recommend this if you need an alternative to the higher priced Pro controller. It's very comfortable to hold due to it's light weight.

Great second controller
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I want to give this 5 stars, but I recently purchased a Pro Controller. That is 5 stars. These are excellent, but lack rumble and the premium feel of the Pro Controller. If it's on sale, absolutely get it. If you need a good second controller, get it. If you are buying ONE good controller to play a lot of games with, get the Pro Controller. This comes in great designs and has served me well. Not a purchase that anyone would regret.

Excellent Budget Alternative
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The PowerA enhanced wireless controller is a budget friendly alternative for the Pro Controller and features two programmable back buttons. A great value at only $50 as long as you don't mind that it does not rumble, does not read amiibos, and runs on AA batteries.

Good for the basics...
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This control is a almost as good as an alternative to the nintendo branded switch pro controller. The Pros: -It has a comfortable grip -It plays the basics well enough (such animal crossing, fortnite and mario kart) -D-Pad is quite nice and click-y in comparison to the OEM Pro Crtl. -The price at $29.99 is worth the buy for the basic usage. The Cons: -The extra buttons while a good concept isn't in a good location if you have a tendency grip your controller out of nerves when you play. So you may find yourself pushing one of the buttons by accident. However, if you aren't a nervous player it shouldn't be too bad and note you can have it completely turned off. -For games like Super Smash Bros Ultimate it's okay at best (6 out of 10). I prefer using a GCN controller for smash. So if you don't mind the lack of input recognition that the controller suffers at times then it's good for casual use but not for competitive. -The price at $49.99 is not worth it. You would think the controller would at least feel a bit more premium in terms of weight and functionality. -Hours of consistent play will drain the battery within four days or less. Especially if you play up to 8 hours a day or more. It does not last nearly as long as a OEM Switch Pro CTRL. So I would recommend rechargeable batteries. -No USB port. So even if you wanted to go wired when the batteries die you can't. Overall, I would recommend this control for anyone looking for a cheaper alternative and if you can get a good sale on it. I haven't had this controller long enough to see if it will develop the drifting issue. So for now it is good as it stands.

Lightweight friendly-user controller
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ever since I saw this controller at the store, I knew I had to get it. The design (colors/gradients, illustrations, etc) is very lovely. Besides, it is very lightweight which is exactly what I was looking for since holding the switch for many hours makes my wrists hurt. It is also wireless so no need for cables. You need to buy two AA batteries though. Works perfectly and it was very easy to understand and use.

Great controller for the price!
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall this is great but it does drain batteries fairly quickly. I found myself changing them out about 3-4 times a month. Would definitely recommend to friends. I would recommend getting some nice rechargable AA batteries It is comfortable and the extra programmable buttons help with some games (like botw, you can use them to swap weapons instead of having to use the dpad so you can keep your thumb on the joystick)

Love this controller.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Being used to Xbox for the past several years this controller feels very similar to Xbox one controller, only negative is the lack of rumble but I knew that in advance. Overall this is a good controller that looks great and is a very capable alternative to the pro controller IMO.

Great controller for the price I paid
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this controller on sale. It's a good controller. It feels a little lighter than I was expecting, which could be a good or bad thing depending on how you feel. I was hoping it would feel a bit sturdier in my hands, but ultimately while actively playing a game with it I forget that minor complaint. It has worked reliably so far!

Good switch controller
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My son got this controller to use with his switch. It is easy to use and set up. We would like to give it five stars but the battery life is what holds us back. Using regular batteries, we constantly have to change them which is costly. I would consider looking into rechargeable batteries to keep the cost down.

Good controller
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My son has been using this controller for about 9 months now. My son says it's easier to hold and use than the two joy-con controllers. It's also easier to connect to a friend's Switch. He'd like it better if it gave a heads up when the battery is low, so sometimes it dies mid-game.

Great Controller
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Being the best mario kart racer in my team, I had to have this controller. The design is super cool too since we also play Pokemon Shield!. It's very durable and I prefer it over joy cons any day.

Good for what it is.
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Don't go in expecting a Switch Pro controller. Read the description. No Amiibo, No rumble. Knowing that upfront I still orderes one. It works perfect, though it feels like an Xbox controller.

Great remote
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love the feel of this wireless controller. Easy to use and set up. Buy lithium batteries because this eats up the standard energizers. My entire family loves the remote and we all share its use. Lol.

Fun Controller
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My 10yr old loves pokemon and is having fun playing with this controller. No more pulling on the cord since this is wireless. Feels comfortable too. It did drift a couple of times, so not sure if it will be an issue. Other than that, it’s been a good controller.

What's not to like?
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ease of use, still going strong. Feels great in your hands and the art is really cute too. I rather use this controller over the original Nintendo switch joy-con.
