Fantastic! .. But...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Alright so, I purchased this controller without hesitation because 1.) Nostalgia - Gamecube Style Controller. 2.) It's wireless. 3.)Its awesome for super smash Bros. I immediately fell in love with it the second I pulled it out of the box because it's so cool to have a GameCube controller in my hands again. The second thing I thought is Wow! Why is this control so light? Well turns out it needs 2 AA batteries to power on (which are included) and it doesn't have any rumble motors in it. Having to use AA batteries is not that big a deal for me, honestly I prefer it sometimes because you can swap batteries out without having to be tethered to your console while it charges. But the lack of any rumble motors makes the controller feel cheap and light. All that aside, the buttons are actually quite premium feeling and responsive. The GameCube controller was / is one of the best controllers ever designed for a game console. They have nice big comfortable grips and shoulder buttons. You can game on this thing for hours without much discomfort. Every game I've tried with it so far works flawlessly. The C stick actually feels quite nice when playing shooters and the giant A button makes for an overall pleasant experience when clicking thorough Nintendo menus lol. This controller is a must for any super smash Bros / GameCube owner. My only complaint is that this controller is a bit expensive considering that it has no rumble feature, no NFC chip and no ir functions. If you can live without any of those 3 functions.then I highly recommend this controller.

Great Controller for Smash Ultimate
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this controller to see what it was like to play the GameCube back in the day. I never had one so I picked this up to play with Smash Ultimate and other games as well. So far I have love this controller and have used it more than the actual pro controller. Yes it takes batteries but this is easily overlooked. The look and feel of the controller is fine as well. The buttons feel fine and the control sticks work well for me too. This is an overall good controller!

Great feeling controller
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Gave a 4 because of the fact that it runs on AA batteries and no rumble. That aside it’s amazing the closest thing to an actual wave bird. Modern touch is cool with analogs sticks able to click in and all 4 shoulder buttons.

Pretty good controller
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The controller is great , But sometimes you need to disconnect it whenever it starts drifting. It hardly does that but when it dies either take oit the batteries or disconnect and reconnect it. The controller is pretty good and works with most games like I played Smash bros ultimate , Fire emblem three houses, The NES and SNES services on the Nintendo switch and even Persona 5 scramble demo! This is a good controller that works with most games

Good wireless Gamecube controller for Switch
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a good control for those who like or need the gamecube layout for their controller. The only thing I have noticed is the signal connection between it and the switch is blocked it can not work properly.

If you buy Smash...you should buy this.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Firstly, hooray for no cords. A Gamecube Controller that doesn't have cords is what I've been wishing for. This is literally a Switch Pro Controller...in the design of a Gamecube Controller. It has the home and capture buttons, clickable sticks, and a second z button where the Gamecube Controller wouldn't. It can play any game on the Switch that allows the Switch Pro Controller. Of course, if you're buying this...you're buying it for Smash Bros...and it doesn't disappoint. Feels fantastic, and works perfectly. There are two caveats though. The first is the controller requires 2 AA batteries (which are included). This is actually great because it lasts longer than normal, but more importantly the batteries gives the controller the heft it needs to feel right in your hands. Secondly, if you're planning to play this game competitively...this controller might not be standard. The input lag is the same as the Switch Pro Controller so it isn't any different than a wired Gamecube Controller, but whether venues will want so many wireless controllers possibly interfering is yet to be seen. Personally, I can't find a difference, but the possibility is there.

Best gamecube controller for the switch
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’m a huge fan of the original gamecube controller. Even as today i still play gamecube games on the original system. I’m really happy this controller exists but it’s not the original feeling. Somehow it feels a slightly smaller than the original one. The analog sticks feels different too. The C stick has a hard tip, compared to the original one. And the L stick was peeling after a week of playing Smash Bros. I returned it for a new one, and this is one is fine, but i’m still a little anxious about having it happening again. I wish the triggers were analog (even though there’s no really purpose for the switch ) And i wish it had a rechargeable battery, like the pro controller. Beside that it’s a great controller

Almost the real deal
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Controller works properly. Feels genuine. Lacks resistive triggers. They are 1 or none, so no partial counts. Batteries lasting well. Makes playing games like Smash work well.

Very solid controller that feels good in my hands
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have never had a GameCube but when I saw this remote I really wanted to try it. I am so glad I did. The first great thing about it is that it is wireless. Next awesome feature is it’s universal switch usuability. It can work on any switch game that is compatible with a pro controller. It has motion control built in but no rumble or nfc. Also it takes regular batteries which it comes with. That part is disappointing but as long as you have batteries the game play never end. I am a fan of this controller and can’t wait to play Super Smash Bros in a couple days with it!

Out of Pro remotes? No problem!!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The GameCube controller has always been one of the most comfortable controllers I have used! Now being able to use it wirelessly and compatible with every game I play, it has made me enjoy playing the switch a lot more!! It needs double A batteries, which it does come with some but they did not last very long. One of my best purchases even if it is a little higher at $50.

Almost Perfect...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this controller for my little cousin to use with Smash Ultimate. Overall, it’s a great controller, and even better that it’s wireless. It has the home and +/- buttons on there, which the GameCube controller re-release does not. It’s also pretty light. The drawbacks are that there’s no rumble feature and it’s battery powered, though at least it came with a set of those in the box. I like that it’s basically a pro controller in the style of the GameCube one, especially because it’s hard to find an official adapter for the original style GameCube controllers out there.

Great buy!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very happy with this purchase! Totally nostalgic and almost an exact copy of the original GameCube controller. My only real gripe is that the controller uses AA batteries. Not that big a deal, but rechargeable controller would have been better in my opinion. Other than that, it works reliably and is a joy to use with the Nintendo Switch, especially with Super Smash Bros.

Great Third Party Controller
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Similar feel to the classic GameCube controller. It is not the quality of a wavebird but it is the best wireless controller for Smash Ultimate for you and your friends. It is a little lighter than the original, but spending a little more for this wireless version is worth it.

Retro Controller for the switch
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.PowerA Gamecube controller is an A+. This controller gives you an automatic nostalgic look and feeling of the original gamecube controllers when playing the nintendo Switch. It features a home button which allows you to easily manuver the Nintendo Switch screens. The sturdy, firm controller makes it durable, and the layout buttons are practically the same as the original control. This wireless controller is amazing and i am 100% satisfied
