First let me say that I'm an Aliens fanboy, so take this review with a grain of salt. That being said I enjoyed being put into the world of Aliens. The environment was decently crafted. Probably the best part was having the familiar pulse of the motion sensor, and the official sound that the pulse rifle makes. Other than that I had a few buggy moments. Turrets that suddenly appear out of nowhere, baddies that blindside you, and AI that isn't very smart. Several times my squad mates would yell "CHECK THE CEILING!" (or something similar) only to find that there is no immediate threat. I found that playing on normal difficulty actually had a decent challenge, but mostly because of the buggy AI. Recommend when its cheap and if you are a fan of the franchise. Otherwise, if you're looking for a good shooting game, download DOOM or DOOM II from the marketplace.
