game seemed monotonous at first. Repetitive…. After getting through the first few missions, back on the shelf it went. It stayed there until a buddy of mine came over and wanted to try playing partners. The game got a whole lot better as it went along. Playing partners is great if you don't kill each other in the process…. We got through the whole game and are still friends...

I picked this up for my two teenaged sons. They tend to argue over who gets to play what/when. I wanted something for them to do together, where they can work together etc. This fit the bill. After I put the game in, they both gravitated towards it and after a few minutes, they were talking about plans etc....it really was a pretty great game to watch, and the graphics are pretty fantastic. After a few minutes, we had a group gathered around the televison and were all watching the game...very well done.

Generic but fun co-op cover based shooter

You can definitely tell that this game was made for a lower budget than most big blockbuster titles. There is an overall generic-ness to the graphics and level design that prevents Devil's Cartel from achieving greatness.
That being said, the gunplay is still very fun and fast paced. Triggering the slow motion Overkill ability, especially with a co-op partner, is extremely satisfying with stuff blowing up everywhere, and never got old.

From the get go the action is fast and furious. Story gets better as it goes on. Surprises in characters and action. Different weapons, Helicopters, great!

I had played the other two Army of Two games so I wasn't keen on playing this one. My wife really wanted something with split screen co-op so I caved and got it anyway. The campaign isn't THAT long, it's very linear and it could be buggy at times. There were more than a few instances of the game freezing, requiring us to reboot the PS3 to get it to work. We had some fun with it and the story is passable so it gets 3 stars instead of the 2 it truly deserves.

Good game, price is about $20 new. I've played the previous games under the same title and this on just picks off where the other story lines stopped. Good gameplay, especially if you play Co-op. Split screen is a bit of a problem as it doesn't quite cut the TV in half so if you have anything less than a 40in TV you may not be able to play co-op and be forced to play online.

I thought this was a great game. I like having the partner to work with you and having to depend on each other to complete the missions. Just wish they had a follow up to this one. I would recommend to friends. Great game.

Very active, not much down time... Little bit of cussing and crude language but not to bad...

This is a great follow up from the first game. The game play is fun and it's great to have a second friend for sure. However there really is no story line and the acting is poor but the game is a fun quick play through.

If you kept up with Army Of Two news after 40th day you probably found out you wouldn't be playing as Salem and Rios. To many people this was probably a turn off, me included. What is Army Of Two without Salem and Rios? You probably asked yourself. The two new characters, Alpha and Bravo, don't disappoint. They each have their own personality. They don't try to be Salem and Rios. I didn't want them to. Gameplay and tactics are essentially the same. Which is a good thing. If it ain't broke don't fix it. This installment fixed a few problems in the past two games. The actions for shoulder switching and melee have their own buttons now. When you reload you actually take out the mag and put in a fresh one. The weapon upgrade system has a new level aspect to it, plus a lot more gun color skins. So if enjoyed playing the past AoT games you'll enjoy this one.

Great Co-Op Game

This game is a great co-op shooter but it hasn't aged well. If you are interested in an easy platinum it is also a pretty basic one with only a few tough trophies. The mechanics and the controls are tight but the graphics leave a lot to be desired if you have been playing a lot of next gen games. All in all, my girl friend and I have had plenty of fun going through the game. I believe the servers are down for Online though and if they are not you also need an online pass if you with to play so I suggest buying the game new. 7\10
