I had purchased this game initially on the Playstation 3 and was greatly disappointed like many others were with how unpolished this game had been. Though having decided to give this game another chance following more than a year's worth of fixing and fine-tuning, I'm happy to say that Battlefield 4 provides a worthwhile experience for any FPS fan.
The campaign for the Battlefield is nothing noteworthy, with it being very short in length. While it does showcase several environments as eye-candy, the writing is subpar and is icing on the mindless running down a linear route gunning down a soldier with the same face as the one you shot 30 secs ago. Don't expect much from the campaign.
The multiplayer had drastically improved following the outcry of fervent players. The netcode issue that plagued the early months after release turned many players away, including me. After focusing more on gathering player feedback and communicating with them with greater transparency, DICE had succeeded in crafting the game that the players envisioned they were getting into the moment they first set foot on the battlefield.
While its release may have tarnished DICE and EA's reputation (even more on EA's half), Battlefield 4 is now a fun and playable game that is even more fun when accompanied with friends in a squad. Now get out there and clip your chopper into a tree along the rest of your squad!

Battlefield 4 is definitely a game to buy if you enjoy the classic Battlefield style of multiplayer, Large open maps primarily built around the Conquest gamemode. The multiplayer is just as fun as it was in past iterations, but it is more hectic on some maps as new paths can be opened up easily by destroying a wall or building, and the destruction isn't the type of map evolution Call of Duty :Ghosts tried to implement, where you essentially destroy planks of plywood. My only gripe is that I have found that the single player campaign is glitched slightly, as your progress wont be save the next time you sign on to your console, this is on the PS4 though and I don't know how the other systems are.Overall bf4 is a buy, but not for single player, but who really bought a Battlefield game for the campaign.

Despite having a campaign that leaves a lot to be desired, Battlefield 4 knocks the multiplayer out of the park. After working through a number of issues at launch, the game is a smooth, exciting experience packed with massive battlefield action.

This game is definitely worth checking out for the environment alone. Its a beautiful and fully interactive world. Graphics are amazing and almost everything can be destroyed. Multiplayer is (as always) great but the single player campaign feels incomplete and rushed. The main story can be finished in about 5 hours

The only and real military game for the PS 4

The only and real military game for the PS4 since black ops has a lot of fictional characters ( zombies ) for the PS 4 also has fighter jets while in battle that you can actually get into and fly. If you get the option packs you have to use the server for multiplayer. Campaign mode is very limited.

I got this because I wanted a change from COD. I'm glad I did. The maps are huge and I love the game play. It's cool to have to use team work to succeed as opposed to a free for all type experience like COD. Destructive environments are a plus also. Grab it you won't be disappointed.

Vehicles are hard to learn and master but game is phenomenal. Great graphics and the sound in this game is second to none. Real world weapons with attachments and the hit detection is spot on. Can't wait til the next battlefield

I got this for my son. The artists, developers, and UX folks did another great job. I'm a terrible gamer but I love sitting down with my son and watching him play. It's like watching a movie!

It takes some time to get used to, especially if you're used to playing call of duty. But in the long run it's a more realistic and fun game.

Its an awesome game, but even better in a PS4 platform. Great story mode awesome graphics, but even better the full on 64-player war mode in multiplayer. Alot of action across great maps!

Story mode is bland, but the multiplayer is really good. Switched from Call of Duty and never going back. More team based.
